Right now, Disney D23 Expo 2013 is gearing up to be the biggest and best ever. Being held August 9-11, 2013 at the Anaheim Convention Center near the Disneyland Resort, D23 Expo unites The Walt Disney Company with fans and fans with other fans. More than 40,000 fans congregated in 2011 to explore the past, present and future of Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Disney Interactive Studios, Disney/ABC Television and more, with the third expo promising even more.
On Friday, July 6, 2012, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library will debut its newest rotating exhibit in partnership with The Walt Disney Company, ‘D23 Presents Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at the Ronald Reagan Library.’ This will represent the largest single, assembled collection of items from the Studio’s Archives ever on public display which is fitting as the Reagan Library’s Museum is the largest of its kind, welcoming more than half a million visitors annually and housing an actual Boeing 707 jet which served as Air Force One for several United States presidents, including Ronald Reagan, the last to use this specific plane.
Disney D23 has announced that it will be adding a brand new twist to its annual ‘Sip’n’Stroll’ event normally held during the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Two levels are being offered for the event, ‘Super Scream’ (which is a two-day event, October 2 and October 3) for $320 and a single-day event on October 3, for $125 (note that admission is required for either package on October 3 as it takes place during regular park hours).
In 2012, D23: The Official Disney Fan Club will take the show on the road as it kicks off a year-long celebration for D23 members with a bold lineup of fantastic events.
Throughout the year, D23 will delight Disney fans from Boston, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Palm Springs to Orlando, Burbank and even Marceline, Missouri — Walt Disney’s boyhood hometown — with the thrill and excitement of uniquely magical Disney experiences.
