As the old saying goes, sometimes a carrot nose is just a carrot nose. While the likelihood that there is a new Frozen short on the horizon, Random House has announced additional information regarding the hush-hush Frozen: Northern Lights, which now appears to be more of a franchise. About a month ago, we reported that a synopsis for the upcoming 224-page ‘adaptation’ had been released. At that time, the title had been changed to a TBA, but now we not only have a title, but an actual cover and author’s name as well. The new book will be titled Frozen Northern Lights: Journey to the Lights and it was written by Suzanne Francis. Francis has written several Disney titles for Random House, including novelizations of Pixar’s Inside Out and Disney’s Zootopia and some ancillary titles to boot. The book is slated for release on July 5, 2016 and is available for pre-order. The official publisher’s description is as follows:

As previously reported, after news of the title began to gain awareness, Random House changed the title simply to ‘to be announced’ (TBA), a title it still currently retains. That said, we do now know the following:
UPDATE: Disney has now confirmed four new LEGO Frozen Northern Lights shorts to debut this fall on Disney Channel

It’s fairly common knowledge that given all the known (and presumably unknown) projects tied to Frozen, that we couldn’t begin to know where to apply such a simple title.
