E3: ‘Disney’s Planes’ for Nintendo Consoles Screens
From above the world of Cars, Disney’s Planes video games takes players on a high-flying, action-packed, fun-filled adventure with Dusty, a big-hearted, speed-loving crop duster who is voiced by actor and comedian Dane Cook. Players will take to the skies with Dusty and other characters, including Ishani, voiced by actress Priyanka Chopra; Echo, voiced by actor Anthony Edwards; and Bravo, voiced by actor Val Kilmer, as they embark on global missions, air races and grand adventures around the world. Available to own on August 6 and now available for pre-order
on Nintendo gaming systems.
In Disney’s Planes video game, players travel through breathtaking environments and play as one of the 10 cast of characters on console and one of the six cast of characters on handheld in either single-player, on all platforms or race against one another in two-player drop-in and drop-out gameplay on console. Players will roll, turn and loop their way through mission-based objectives in exciting modes of play including a narrative-based Story mode and a score-based mini-game that challenges the player’s precision flying skills called Balloon Pop. The exploratory Free Flight mode and racing-based Air Rallies mode are exclusive to the consoles and the objective-achieving Challenge mode is only offered via the handheld platforms.
In honor of E3, Disney Interactive has provided us with dozens of screens from across all of the platforms:

‘Planes’ New Poster, Video Game Trailer Released
Via its official Facebook page, Walt Disney Studios UK has released this new poster for Disney’s Planes from DisneyToon Studios. The poster features Dusty alongside Ripslinger and Rochelle with Colin Cowling in the distance.
Inspired by the world of Cars, Disney’s Planes is an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty (voice of Dane Cook), a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. But Dusty’s not exactly built for racing — and he happens to be afraid of heights. So he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps Dusty qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty’s courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar.
In addition to the poster, Disney Interactive today released a trailer for the Disney’s Planes video game for Nintendo Wii, Wii U and 3DS systems inspired by the film:
Disney’s Planes features the vocal talents of Dane Cook, Stacy Keach, Brad Garrett, Teri Hatcher, Cedric the Entertainer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, John Cleese, Carlos Alazraqui, Priyanka Chopra, Gabriel Iglesias, Roger Craig Smith, Colin Cowherd, Sinbad, Oliver Kalkofe, Brent Musburger, Anthony Edwards and Val Kilmer. It will be released in theaters on August 9, 2013.

Girls can extend an outdoor play level and footbridge to Enchancia and explore the castle grounds, or take Sofia and Clover on a picnic. Inside the castle, Sofia can glide down the staircase, enjoy royal dancing and dining in the ballroom, or find Clover hiding in the window seat. Disney Princess Mermaid-to-Princess Ariel. Girls will be delighted to re-create Ariel’s unforgettable transformation from mermaid to princess — over and over again! Magically transform Ariel into a princess by pulling her skirt over her tail to reveal a shimmery pink gown. Then, transform her back into a mermaid by pulling down on her sparkly tail. To further add to the fairytale fun, Ariel ‘sings’ two different songs from the movie as she transforms! MSRP: $24.99, Available July 2013
Disney Princess Ultimate Dream Castle. The Disney Princess Ultimate Dream Castle is more enchanting than ever! This brand new castle includes fairytale-themed rooms for all girls’ favorite princesses — including a bedroom for Rapunzel and a spiraling hair ‘elevator’ for her and her princess friends to go up and down. The castle also comes to life with the Disney Magic Mirror App (Available on the App Store?). When girls scan the castle’s defined labels with an iOS device they unlock and trigger activities in each princess’ room and around the outside of the castle. The three-story castle also includes a charming kitchen where Snow White can ‘bake,’ a fancy dining room for Belle to serve her guests, a bathroom for Ariel to lounge in the tub, a sewing room for Cinderella to make pretty dresses, and a royal vanity for Sleeping Beauty to get ready.
