Attention was brought to the series by several recent domain registration of several names for it: PENNZERO.COM, PENNZERO.NET, PENNZEROPARTTIMEHERO.COM and PENNZEROPARTTIMEHERO.NET.
An extensive Google search for information on the series turned up only two mentions, one ironically enough right on Disney Channel’s media web site. The entry for Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess mentions that voice director Sam Reigel worked on ‘Penn Zero: Part Time Hero,’ as well as another pilot, ‘Shred-Force,’ which was created by Matt Maiellaro, co-creator of Cartoon Network’s ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force,’ et al.

Attendees of a press conference held earlier this month for Disney XD’s new animated series, ‘Avengers Assemble,’ were able to catch a glimpse of Marvel’s Iron Man and Captain America in the flesh/suit. This would have provided a rare opportunity for a meet and greet with the popular Marvel superheroes in an environment provided by Disney proper as the only current appearances in domestic theme parks are regulated to those at Universal Studios Orlando and sanctioned meet and greets at Toys ‘R’ Us locations.
