The Disneyland Resort has announced it will be offering its annual passholders the opportunity to attend a free behind-the-scenes look at the creation of its newest attraction, the Fantasy Faire. The event will include a presentation and Q&A session with Show Director Christopher Utley and Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Director Michel den Dulk.
The Disneyland Resort has announced that it will be offering a passholder-only preview for the new Fantasy Faire at Disneyland prior to its official opening on March 12, 2013.
The AP preview will take place between March 7 and March 9, from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Each passholder is allotted two hours within that period to experience the Fantasy Faire.
To obtain wristbands, passholders may begin registering inside the entrance to Frontierland starting at 10:30 am on the day of the event. All participating Guests (ages 3 and older) must be valid Annual Passholders on the day of the event and must register in person. It is recommended that all members of the party register at the same time.
While the Walt Disney World Resort has had gaming experiences for some time such as Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom and soon A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas, the Disneyland Resort has appeared to escaped unscathed from the diversions. In truth, the resort has quietly been working on a project called Disney Kudos, which up until now has been mostly a mystery.
We are just under a week from the New Year and — with it — the 124th annual Rose Parade held on New Year’s Day in Pasadena, California. This year’s theme is taken from the Dr. Seuss classic, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! and Disneyland Resort hopes to transport the parade’s millions of viewers to Cars Land, it’s newest addition at the Disney California Adventure theme park.
There’s a definite odd-man-out in this trio of mentions, but as they all came up in one of our routine product reviews, all have the same release date and should all be on most everyone’s wish list this holiday season, here they are all presented as one beautiful-sounding package.
First up is a recent Disney Parks release, ‘The Circle Sessions: The Music of Carthay Circle,’ which was released as a CD not all that long ago exclusively at Disney California Adventure. The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) today announced the recipients of its annual Thea Awards during the IAAPA Attractions Expo. In addition to the Cars Land themed area itself, Radiator Springs Racers and the Carthay Circle Restaurant located on Buena Vista Street are recipients of TEA’s Awards for Outstanding Achievement.
Southern California families looking for value and the best way to spend their entertainment dollars will find an unbeatable offer at the Disneyland Resort in the new year. With the “Southern California Resident 2fer Ticket,” guests will be immersed in the magic of fun attractions and high quality entertainment at Disneyland or Disney’s California Adventure park on one day, and then come back on another day to play in the other park – for free.*

Plan ahead: This is a limited-time offer. Guests must purchase and use a “Southern California Resident 2fer Ticket” in one theme park by April 12, 2010. Then they can bring the ticket back within 30 days to play all day in the other park – for free.
Double the fun: Go wild in both Disney parks, making this a special time for residents of Southern California to enjoy the fun, entertainment, restaurants, shows and attractions that are found in Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure parks. The two parks feature a mix of classic attractions and immersive experiences that will entertain guests of all ages.
Celebrate special occasions at the Disneyland Resort: With a 2fer ticket, guests can visit one park in honor of a special day – perhaps their birthday or anniversary – and come back to play in the other park for a second celebration. It could be a championship season, an engagement or a child’s first visit to see Mickey Mouse.
