First Look: Disney Dream Dooney & Bourke Inaugural Bags
Although they won’t be going on sale until 6:30 pm this evening, these Disney Dream Inaugural patterned bags by Dooney & Bourke have already caused quite a stir upon the maiden voyage of the Disney Dream.
Although fashion accessories is not an area we admittedly excel at, it’s our understanding that the pricing for said line is surprisingly normal, running from $45 for the wristlet to $260 for the largest tote. Guests on board are limited to a purchase of two per style and while there seems to be some debate amongst passengers as to whether the design will be available onboard beyond the maiden voyage (apparently there is a distinction between the terms inaugural voyage and maiden voyage), we’ve been assured by the crew that these puppies are geared to sell out once and for all this trip around.

Although the daily updates posted here at Stitch Kingdom of new items available at DisneyStore.com along with special deals posted daily via our @SK_TDSAlerts twitter account is usually enough, I felt there were a couple of new items and sales today that deserved their own special mention in case they got understandably overlooked with the dozens of other deals announced today.
Described as mini-beanies, these plushes feature many of the new characters introduced in Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story 3. Included in the collection are Dolly, Mr. Pricklepants, Twitch, Peas-in-a-Pod, Buttercup the unicorn, Trixie and Sparks who’s even articulated. They retail for $8.50 each or can be purchased for $14 for any combination of two of them.
Dooney & Bourke to Launch Exclusive Disneyland ’55 Collection at Disneyland Resort July 17
On the 55th Anniversary of the Disneyland Resort, Ian Ray of Dooney & Bourke will be on hand to celebrate the release of an exclusive Disneyland-inspired handbag collection.
The bags’ design features iconic Disney and Disneyland elements such as Mickey Mouse through the years, Mickey Mouse Club member IDs, Ears and more. Although the event will take place at Downtown Disney’s Vault 28 from 2 pm – 4 pm PT, the bags will be available for purchase at the store at opening. A special gift with purchases over $150 will be offered and distributed at the time of the event.

Several additional Disney-inspired Dooney & Bourke fashion accessories in three different designs have been made available on DisneyStore.com beginning today, although at press time, they have not yet been properly categorized into the Dooney & Bourke subcategory under the Disney Parks shop.
The Tonal Mickey Mouse is currently available as a champsac bag (item #400000016238P), a checkbook wallet (item #400000016368P), a letter carrier bag (item #400000016290P) and a wristlet (item #400000016412P).
Faces of Minnie is available as a pouchette bag (item #400000033051P) and a satchel bag (item #400000032993P).

It’s a collector’s paradise on DisneyStore.com today as the online Disney shopping mecca begins offering some of the hottest merchandise around, including:
Dooney & Bourke wristlet bags and tote bags in medium and large sizes. Designs include Disney Sketch and Mickey Mouse. You can find them in their own new category in the Theme Park shop.
Pook-a-Looz series #2 which features the Muppets and Nightmare Before Christmas Pook-a-looz alongside our classic friends: The set (individuals are also available) includes: Steamboat Willie, Steamboat Minnie, Dumbo,Pinocchio,Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Gonzo, Chip, Dale, Santa Jack Skellington, Jack Skellington, Sally and Oogie Boogie. They can be found in the Pook-a-looz specialty shop.
Finally there are several of the Oh Mickey! and Sports open-box series of 3″ Vinylmations available, each with their mysterious 1 1/2″ Vinylmation Jr. friends. Keychains featuring Vinylmation Jr series #1 are also now available online and can be found in the Vinylmation category of the Theme Park shop.
Disneyland’s Vault 28 to Hold ‘Alice’ Merchandise Event March 6; Dooney & Bourke Coming
Disney Vault 28 and D Street located in the Downtown Disney district of the Disneyland Resort will jointly be holding an Alice in Wonderland merchandise event on Saturday, March 6.
Events taking place that day include:

Dooney & Bourke to Launch New Products at Walt Disney World February 26
Ian Ray, of Dooney & Bourke, will be at Tren-D in the Downtown Disney Marketplace at Walt Disney World on Friday, February 26, 2010, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for a special event debuting new Disney Dooney & Bourke products. Ian will be handing out a complimentary Dooney & Bourke gift to guests who purchase $150 or more of the Dooney & Bourke co-branded products.
