Limited Edition Viking and Gumball Machine Mouse Ears by VinylmationInspired by two of the figures from the upcoming Urban Series 6 Vinylmation, Disney Design Group will be releasing two unique, limited edition mouse ears at D-Street at the Downtown Disney Districts at the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts on March 18, 2011.

Based on a figure designed by artist Doug Strayer, the viking mouse ears will be limited to an edition size of 1,000 pieces.

The gumball machine ears are based on a figure designed by Caley Hicks and will be limited to an edition size of 800 pieces.

Both ears were designed by artist Maria Clapsis and will retail for $49.95.

Novelty Mickey Mouse Ears, World of Color Merchandise Now Available on DisneyStore.com

Back in January, we gave you the very first look at new novelty Mickey Mouse Ears making their way into the parks. Since then the ears have slowly made their way into the theme parks and now we are pleased to share with you the news that the scratch-and-sniff popcorn box ears (400117466032P) and Mickey Bar ears (400117466025P) are now available at the Disney Parks store on DisneyStore.com. Also available as of today are the Toy Story branded ears (400116718651P).

Also available today is this World of Color pin featuring Tinker Bell from Disney California Adventure. The pin measures 1 3/4″ and features a pin on pin element. For more information or to order, visit the Theme Park shop and search for item #400017513126P.

Exclusive First Look: New Souvenir 3D Mickey Ears

You may have read this blog entry written by Disneyland Merchandise Marketing & Communications Project Manager Michelle Harker on the official Disney Parks blog earlier today. In the article, Michelle talks about some upcoming theme park merchandise including brand new Mickey ears, specifically of the Mickey Bar and Popcorn variety.

We are pleased to bring you a first look at some of the new ears you can expect to find in the Disney Parks later this year in addition to the Mickey Bar Ice Cream and Popcorn editions: a skull pirate and, our personal favorite, the Haunted Mansion edition.

Remember kids, you saw it ear first.
