eFX Collectibles has announced that as of today, it is selling replicas of the touring posters seen in Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger. The posters are created direct from digital files used in the film, measure 25″x36″ and are printed on archival, acid-free paper and are available for $20 each.
Beginning October 16, eFX will also be making its series of Captain America trading cards from Marvel’s The Avengers available. There will be two separate sets of trading cards available: the ‘near-mint’ collection which Agent Phil Coulson shows to CA to get signed and a post-incident bloody version of the cards, complete with certificate of authenticity.
On Tuesday, Oct. 9, eFX will also begin accepting pre-orders for its first full-scale, screen-accurate Marvel prop replicas. The first items available for pre-ordering will be Thor’s helmet and his hammer, Mjolnir. The helmet is from the Thor movie, and Mjolnir is a replica of the prop used in The Avengers. Both prop replicas astounded fans when they were previewed at WonderCon and Comic-Con.

eFX Assembles Line of Marvel Universe Prop Replicas
After making full-scale prop replicas and collectibles for some of the most iconic science-fiction, fantasy and action franchises of all time, eFX Inc. announced today that it will unveil an all-new line based on film and comics characters in the Marvel Universe.
eFX, which has acquired worldwide rights to create Marvel collectibles, plans to reveal its new line of Marvel collectibles in the first quarter of 2012, and to display the first collectible prop replicas from the upcoming Marvel film The Avengers at WonderCon in Anaheim, California, from March 16 to March 18.
Included in its initial line-up of limited-edition Marvel collectibles are expected to be Captain America shield, Thor’s hammer and a full-scale Iron Man Mark V mask. As fans worldwide anxiously await the May 4 theatrical release of The Avengers – which brings together some of the most famous Super Heroes ever created – eFX will continue introducing new Marvel-based collectibles based on these incredible characters.
In addition to prop replicas and high-end collectibles, eFX will also offer a series of items inspired by Marvel characters and properties, which, like the replicas, will be available on its website at www.efxcollectibles.com and at select retail locations. Prices are expected range from $49 to $1,500 and more.

eFX Previews 1982 ‘TRON’ Helmet Replica; Announces Timeline for Nautilus
In an email last night to mailing list subscribers, eFX provided this first look at the replica of the original TRON helmet they’re currently developing. The included image, pictured here, compares the the helmet as seen in the film to the replica being created from eFX.
In related news, eFX has announced that their 4′ replica of Captain Nemo’s Nautilus from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea has been approved by Disney and will begin shipping in summer. The production is limited to 500 pieces worldwide and is currently being accepted for pre-order ($500 deposit required) up until April 30. eFX Collectibles Announces Special D23 Member Pricing and Shopping Opportunities
eFX Inc. today announced special, members-only pricing for Disney enthusiasts who are members of D23: The Official Community for Disney Fans.
D23 Members can save hundreds of dollars on eFX’s line of intricately crafted Disney replicas by visiting the eFX website at www.efxcollectibles.com. Special D23 Member pricing takes effect immediately, said Bryan Ono, president of eFX Inc.
“There are no Disney fans who are more devoted and enthusiastic than D23 Members, and we wanted to do something special for them,” Ono said.
The first of eFX’s Disney replicas is the remarkably detailed, four-foot reproduction of Capt. Nemo’s Nautilus from Disney’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The painstakingly produced Nautilus is priced at $1,799, and is available to D23 members for $1,699.
Limited to just 500 pieces worldwide, the Nautilus can be pre-ordered at www.efxcollectibles.com. A non-refundable, $500 deposit is required, and the special D23 member price will be adjusted with the final payment prior to shipping.
D23 Members will have the opportunity to place their orders for Disney collectibles 24 hours before the general public. D23 membership numbers will be validated upon ordering at the website.
The next Disney replica from eFX will be available to order by D23 Members starting Tuesday, May 4, with ordering open to the general public on May 5.
It’s the exquisitely crafted Evil Queen’s Heart Box from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ($799, or $724 for D23 members), inspired by the designs of Disney’s first full-length animated feature.
The Heart Box is intricately constructed from solid rosewood and features an imaginative 24-karat gold-plated heart that locks with a dagger-lock mechanism. The Heart Box sits on an elaborate, museum-quality display base that features two sculptures by renowned artist David Kracov: One depicts the Evil Queen holding the chalice that contains a magical elixir to turn her into the “Old Hag” – who, in the second, holds the fateful “magic wishing apple.”
Each Heart Box includes a numbered plaque and certificate of authenticity, and production will not exceed 500 pieces worldwide.
Upcoming Disney-inspired pieces from eFX include an 18-inch Rizzo the Rat Photo Puppet ($379, or $329 for D23 members), which celebrates the enduring appeal of the Muppets and will be available for order shortly. It’s a detailed and accurate replica of the full-size, three-dimensional “photo puppet” used to represent favorite Muppet characters in photo shoots. Fully articulated, the eFX Rizzo the Rat is created based on reference patterns and materials supplied by Disney’s Muppet Studios. Rizzo’s dressed in a T-shirt and a letterman’s jacket that features real suede-leather sleeves and a “Ratpanic” embroidered patch on the back. Worldwide, eFX is limiting the edition size to 1,000, and each piece will come with a numbered plaque and certificate of authenticity.

20K Leagues Nautilus Replica from eFX Collectibles Available for Pre-Order December 10
BURBANK, Calif. (December 7, 2009) – Disney fans will soon be able to add an element of epic adventure to their collections: On Thursday, December 10, eFX Inc. begins accepting orders at www.efxcollectibles.com for its eye-popping, four-foot replica of Capt. Nemo’s Nautilus, inspired by Disney’s 1954 live-action version of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Shipping is anticipated to take place in spring 2010 for the Nautilus, the first of three incredible replicas offered in eFX’s new Disney line. All orders for the Nautilus placed prior to December 31, 2009, will receive a special early pre-order price of $1,699. Moreover, orders placed before that date will also receive a special certificate, suitable for framing, on a reproduction of the Disney Studios stationery used during the film’s production in 1954. This four-foot replica of the Nautilus offers features not incorporated in any previous model of the iconic submarine. Produced at approximately 1/45th scale, the replica features finely detailed interior views of the wheelhouse and Capt.
