“LOST LIVE: The Final Celebration” will feature appearances by “Lost” cast members — including Nestor Carbonell, Michael Emerson and Jorge Garcia — and be performed by Oscar winning composer Michael Giacchino, who will conduct a live orchestral performance featuring the iconic music of “Lost” at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 13, to celebrate the upcoming series finale. In addition, a special preview of the penultimate episode will be screened immediately after the concert.
Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan will make a rare public appearance at Borders bookstore at Columbus Circle in New York City on April 27 to promote her children’s book The Sandwich Swap.
In the story, based on part of the Queen’s own personal experiences, Lily and Salma are best friends. They play together and stick together through thick and thin. But who would have ever thought that ordinary peanut butter or plain old hummus could come between them? Lily and Salma don’t quite understand each other’s tastes, but does that mean they can’t be friends? They understand far better than a lot of grown-ups that these things hardly matter and that friendship is the most important thing of all.
