The Norway pavilion in Epcot® is pleased to host Northwestern Captain Sig Hansen, Edgar Hansen, and Matt Bradley — three of the featured stars on the popular reality series on The Discovery Channel, Deadliest Catch – for an in-park appearance July 31 – August 02, 2009. Sig, Edgar and Matt will appear inside The Puffin’s Roost, the Norway Pavilion’s merchandise location, each day. They’ll be appearing from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
Academy Award® Winning Actress, Julie Andrews will be on hand for the debut of her newest book titled, Julie Andrews’ Collection of Poems, Songs and Lullabies, which will be released in October 2009. As part of this product release and signing, Guests will have the opportunity to pre-purchase the book before its released to the public.
In addition, Artist Toby Bluth will be on hand for the release of his latest work, titled Poppins and Penguins, which was created in celebration of the 45th Anniversary of the beloved Disney film, Mary Poppins.

Lucasfilm’s Head of Fan Relations and owner of the world’s largest private collection of Star Wars memorabilia, Steve Sansweet, will be appearing this weekend at Star Wars Weekends. Steve will be signing copies of his books, The Star Wars Vault and The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, both of which will be available for purchase for the signing. He’ll also be bringing along some special give-aways.
He’ll be signing at Wicket’s Warehouse on Friday, June 5 from 12:30 – 2:30 PM, on Saturday from 1:30 – 3:30 PM and on Sunday from 12:30 – 2:30 PM.
Come meet author Ryder Windham as he signs copies of his book, Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide, on Saturday, June 6 at Wicket’s Warehouse (at Soundstage 1 near the Backlot Tour entrance). Windham has authored over fifty titles including junior novelized versions of Indiana Jones and Star Wars movies and will be signing his book from 11 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm.
Come meet Chris Reiff as he signs copies of his book, Star Wars Blueprints: The Ultimate Collection, on Saturday, May 30 at Wicket’s Warehouse (at Soundstage 1 near the Backlot Tour entrance). Reiff is a frequent contributor to Star Wars Insider magazine, co-founder of the Parts of Star Wars and the designer of the Riddell miniature Star Wars helmets and will be signing his book from 11 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 6 pm.
On Thursday, April 30 at 2:00pm – 3:00pm, author of Ella Enchanted and Disney Fairies stories, Gail Carson Levine, will be appearing at the Pixie Hollow Fairy Garden near Test Track in Epcot to sign copies of her book Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand. No personal items may be signed, all items to be signed will be available for purchase at the signing (limit of 2 items per guest).
In celebration of the “5th Annual ABC and SOAPnet Salutes Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS” benefit, the producers are proud to announce a second day for fans of “All My Children,” “One Life to Live” and “General Hospital” to meet and greet and get signed autographs from some of their favorite ABC Daytime stars. A Class Act NY will be hosting a special class for children ages 7-16 in Manhattan on April 5. Instructors will be Sierra Boggess (who portrays Ariel in the Broadway production) and a casting director from Tara Rubin Casting, who cast the show. According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, tickets for the Lion King Las Vegas will go on sale February 28 beginning at 7 am at the Mandalay Bay Box office and until 10 am (or supplies are exhausted), ticket buyers will receive free gifts. The first 100 buyers will receive a complimentary original cast recording CD of the musical while the first buyer will also get signed copies of The Lion King: Pride Rock on Broadway and Disney Theatrical president Thomas Schumacher’s How Does the Show Go On? There will be an additional gift available to all while supplies last.
