‘Snow White,’ ‘Paperman’ to Play New York Film Festival
The New York Film Festival (September 28 – October 14, 2012) , conducted by The Film Society of Lincoln Center, has recently partially announced its slate of ‘sidebar films.’
As part of its ‘Masterworks’ series, the film festival will present Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. As an added bonus, Walt Disney Animation Studios will also present John Kahr’s revolutionary short, Paperman alongside the film. The short, which takes advantage of Disney’s meander technology, is just finishing up a short run at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, where it played in front another Disney classic, Cinderella. It will debut in theaters nationwide on November 2, where it will play in front of Wreck-It Ralph.
Tickets for the screening as well as all the rest of the participants in the New York Film Festival will go on sale to the public online at noon EST on September 9. For more information, visit the Film Festival’s ticketing information page.
