Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has confirmed our earlier report that the ‘Sing-Along’ edition of the smash animated hit Frozen will be released on DVD and digital on November 18, 2014. As we previously announced, Disney Store has begun taking pre-orders. Amazon has also begun listing the title.
The DVD will contain both the standard theatrical cut as well as the special edition sing-along cut that played in theaters earlier this year. Also included will be the Mickey Mouse Get A Horse! short as well as the ‘Breaking the Ice – The Real Making of Frozen’ six minute featurette that was initially promised on the original Blu-ray release but was never delivered.
Ahead of any official announcement, Disney Store has begun taking pre-orders for a DVD format of the Frozen: Sing-Along edition that enjoyed a theatrical run earlier this year. According to Disney Store, the DVD will be available to own on November 18, 2014.
According to the DVD’s description on the item page, it will include the full theatrical sing-along cut as well as a digital copy of the film. Also promised is an unspecified, ‘never-before-seen’ bonus.
Based on prior experiences with Disney Store, the lack of a Blu-ray version on the site does not preclude one from being available through other retailers as Disney Store has been slow to adopt the Blu-ray format.
Amazon has begun taking pre-orders for the third title in the Disney Legacy Collection, Sleeping Beauty, which will be released on October 7, 2014, in honor of the 55th anniversary of the 1959 animated classic.
The two disc set features the original songs and score from the film as well as album versions of tracks, demos and ‘lost chords’ — songs that were written for the film but were ultimately cut in various stages of production before the film made it to the big screen.
The complete track list is as follows:

It is likely that the Amazon listing is for both titles as well but it has not been updated appropriately.
