Ahead of any official announcements, attendees at a recent taping of Ellen Degeneres’ talk show were among the first to learn that Finding Dory is headed to 3D Blu-ray on November 15, 2016 (now available for pre-order), with a digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere release on October 25, 2016. In addition, the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has rated the bonus features which include a full length audio commentary as well as over an hour of deleted scenes including a 15 minute scene featuring the Finding Nemo tank gang and a scene called ‘starting over’ which clocks in at over 20 minutes. Full details can be found below. In addition Disney Store is offering its traditional Blu-ray pre-order which comes with a set of lithographs including a still of Baby Dory.
Directed by Alan Barillaro, Piper shares the story of a hungry baby sandpiper that suffers from the fear of water (or hydrophobia according to Pixar, though that implies Piper has rabies), who meets a young hermit crab who teaches Piper about the ocean’s waves. The six minute short was scored by Adrian Belew, the lead singer of King Crimson.

Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation Studios have provided us with a few new hi-res still from Finding Dory (June 17, 2016) as well as concept art, which can be seen in our galleries below.
In addition, the final credits confirm that the entire Tank Gang from Finding Nemo do in fact return in Finding Dory, all voiced by their original respective voice talent (Willem Dafoe as Gill, Brad Garrett at Bloat, Allison Janney as Peach, Austin Pendleton as Gurgle, Stephen Root as Bubbles and Vicki Lewis as Deb (& Flo)), with the exception of Jacques who was originally voiced by the late Joe Ranft and now voiced by his brother, Jerome Ranft.
Disputing some key evidence supporting the lesbian couple theory in Disney/Pixar’s Finding Dory (June 17, 2016), Walt Disney Studios Italy has releaesd a new trailer for the film which includes brand new footage. Although the pair of women seen in the second trailer could indeed be a couple, they could equally just be platonic friends enjoying a mommies’ (or childless friends’) day out. And therein lies the rub. One of the popular pieces of evidence is the toddler seen in the trailer alongside a stroller in which the two women are surprised to find a very ugly baby in the form of Hank (presumably assuming — and very incorrectly — that the stroller and the toddler are also a pair). Not often cited, but made clear by the trailer was that the stroller was already in motion when it crashed into the child, which would have suggested the stroller does not belong to the toddler and most definitely not to the two women it surprises. The trailer embedded below shows a bit of footage of Dory and Hank on the stroller in question before it hits the child (who is not in the trailer).
