CONFIRMED: ‘Master Moves Mickey’ from Fisher-Price to Debut at Toy Fair
Following in the footsteps of Dance Star Mickey and Rock Star Mickey comes Master Moves Mickey. Fisher-Price (a subsidiary of Mattel) has today confirmed our Twitter ‘report’ that it will be debuting a new interactive Mickey Mouse toy, although he’ll be breaking out for the summer, not the holidays as we originally suspected.
Master Moves Mickey (or M3 as he’s known by his homies) is dialed up in his freshest dance gear and ready to get down with a whole new set of 15 break dancing moves. With a signature handstand, Mickey’s moves are hotter and hipper than ever! It’s time to throw down a few of your own dance moves with Mickey or learn from the pro. Master Moves Mickey has 15 dance moves, 8 original songs, interactive dances, and plenty of awesome humor to get the whole family up and dancing.
Master Moves Mickey from Fisher-Price will take it to the streets in August at a list price of $69.99.
We’ll be checking out Master Moves Mickey when we visit Toy Fair in New York City this weekend, so be sure to check back in a few days as well as follow @StitchKingdom on Twitter for live updates from the western hemisphere’s largest industry toy show.

Disney Sing-a-ma-jigs from Fisher-Price Now Available
Ever since I first became aware of the new Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse entries into the award-winning Sing-a-ma-jigs family by Fisher Price earlier this year at the New York International Toy Fair, I have been waiting impatiently for them to finally land on the shelf and that time is now.
The Sing-a-ma-jigs themselves as a whole appear to be quite polarizing and admittedly I too tried to avoid the odd-sounding, singing, harmonizing toys until I could take it no more and gave one a squeeze. To this day, I cannot pass by a display of Sing-a-ma-jigs and not squeeze the heck out of one or two or three, if not more. I knew my Sing-a-ma-jig addiction had hit rock bottom when I would find myself waiting in line just to squeeze’em.
With that, I am pleased to announce that enabler Amazon.com recently began listing both the Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse
Disney-branded Sing-a-ma-jigs. Both are fully compatible in terms of harmonizing with existing Sing-a-ma-jigs and each has a unique song: Mickey sings the theme to the ‘Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,’ while Minnie sings the ‘Hot Dog’ song.
Here’s a brief video sneak preview of the Disney Sing-a-ma-jigs in action which we received earlier this year:

Fisher-Price and Disney Launch ‘Dance Star Mickey’ Website with Music Downloads, Games
With just a few days until the shipping date for one of the hottest must-have toys this year, Fisher-Price and Disney have teamed up to create the ‘Get Up and Groove with Mickey’ mini-site featuring Dance Star Mickey himself.
We’ve been anticipating the October 5 release of Fisher-Price’s Dance Star Mickey ever since we first met him and Dancing with the Stars winner Donny Osmond at the product launch event earlier this year. Mickey dances along with the kids to all different types of music and even plays games with them and now you have a sneak peek at playing games with him too thanks to the website.
In the ‘Mickey Dance Challenge,’ visitors have the opportunity to mix and match with selections from Dance Star Mickey’s array of maneuvers and see how well they fare against celebrity judges Goofy, Minnie and Donald.
When you’re finished checking out Dance Star Mickey online for now, make sure you reserve your very own today by pre-ordering at Amazon.com

‘Dancing with the Stars’ Winner Donny Osmond Helps Launch ‘Dance Star Mickey’ from Fisher-Price
Legendary entertainer and reigning ‘Dancing with the Stars’ champ Donny Osmond joined Fisher-Price at the International Toy Fair in New York yesterday to help launch their newest product, Dance Star Mickey.
Introduced by Mattel Brands President Neil Friedman, Donny burst onto the stage with Mirror Ball Trophy in hand and immediately set the room on fire, regaling those in attendance with details of his lengthy relationship with The Walt Disney Company beginning with the Osmond Brothers being discovered by Walt himself.
Before long, Donny was joined by special guest Mickey Mouse himself who fearlessly accepted a dance-off challenge issued by Osmond. After a little tap dancing and a bit of disco, it was the Mouse’s split that sealed the win.
At last it was time for the curtain to rise, revealing the real star of the presentation, Dance Star Mickey, Fisher-Price’s most technologically advanced toy to date. Using a new, innovative mechanism, Dance Star Mickey is able to move and gesture in a very fluid and life-like way.
