Walt Disney Studios has provided us with a very hi-res version of the concept art recently shared from Frozen from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

When a prophecy traps the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter, Anna (Kristen Bell), a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and his sidekick reindeer, Sven, on an epic journey to find Anna’s sister Elsa, the Snow Queen (Idina Menzel), and put an end to her icy spell. Encountering mystical trolls, a funny snowman named Olaf, Everest-like extremes and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.

‘Frozen’ Character Posters Give First Look at Anna, Elsa

The posters feature Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) along with the Snow Queen Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel), who happens to be Anna’s sister. The full synopsis for the film follows:

Disney’s ‘Frozen’ to be Directed by Co-Writer Jennifer Lee

Jennifer Lee, courtesy Walt Disney StudiosWalt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) taps Jennifer Lee to join Chris Buck at the helm of its 53rd full-length animated feature Frozen, which is slated for the big screen on November 27, 2013. Lee, who has contributed to the film’s screenplay, is one of the screenplay writers of this year’s hit arcade-hopping adventure Wreck-It Ralph.

‘Frozen’ with Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel to Debut in Theaters November 2013

Walt Disney Animation Studios presents an epic tale of adventure and comedy in Frozen, a computer-animated feature film slated for the big screen in November 2013. Directed by Chris Buck (Tarzan, Surf’s Up) and produced by Peter Del Vecho (Winnie the Pooh, The Princess and the Frog), Frozen features the vocal talents of film/TV/stage star Kristen Bell as Anna, a young dreamer about to take the adventure of a lifetime, and Tony Award ®-winning actress Idina Menzel as Elsa the Snow Queen. The movie will feature original songs by Broadway greats Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
