Up until now, we’ve been holding back releasing what we knew regarding the dates for the 2010 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party nights at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom because we were awaiting confirmation on dates beyond October 3.
The wait has ended (almost). The dates we have been given are as follows:
September 3, 8, 14, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 25, 28, 30
October 1, 3, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, 31
November 1
Former Imagineer Ric Turner Turns Christmas Hero with Lights Display
You can take the boy out of the Osborne Lights, but you can’t take the Osborne Lights out of former Walt Disney Imagineer Ric Turner who has made it a tradition to turn his home into a lights and musical spectacle for the Christmas season as well as Halloween. (Turner now operates as a consultant for WDI).

Just in Time for (Next) Halloween: Disney Traditions Villains Castle
Hand-painted and made of stone resin, this nearly-a-foot-tall sculpture of a haunted castle features ten Disney classics villains. Where to Download Free Pumpkin Jack-o-Lantern Stencils – Disney, Muppets, Pixar and More
While there are plenty of commercially available Disney-themed pumpkin stencils, there’s still quite a few to be found online for free. Per a reader’s request, I’ve gone ahead and compiled a list of some (well, most) of the resources online in which you can download free Disney-themed stencils to create your own jack-o-lantern this Halloween.
Not surprisingly, I must confess that most of these resources you have probably seen before if you’ve gone hunting for them in the past. However, I do believe I’ve managed to throw in a few that may not be all that commonly known.
PetSmart Expands Exclusive Line of Disney Halloween Costumes for Dogs
PetSmart has brought back its extremely popular line of Disney licensed Halloween costumes for dogs for the second year. In addition to old favorites such as Tinker Bell, Peter Pan and Snow White, new favorites include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse (currently sold out online), Cinderella, Ariel, Tigger and — for the pirates out their who love to sniff out the booty — Jack Sparrow.

Zero Takes to the Sky in Photo Preview of New Halloween Fireworks at Disneyland
New this year to Halloween Time at Disneyland is Halloween Screams – A Villainous Surprise in the Skies. The new fireworks spectacular haunts the nighttime sky throughout the Halloween season. To start the show, Master of Scare-omonies Jack Skellington appears in a flash of fire above 
Sleeping Beauty Castle. Haunting melodies fill the air and a Halloween pyrotechnics extravaganza explodes into the night. Such classic Disney villains as Maleficent, Ursula the Sea Witch and Oogie Boogie join in the ‘spirit’ of the celebration, and even Zero, Jack’s faithful ghost dog, will make an appearance.
