‘Have a Laugh’ Collection of Classic Disney Animated Shorts Coming to DVD

Now that you’ve collected all of the Have a Laugh vinylmation figures, it’s time to step back in time and check out all the classic animated shorts that inspired them.
We don’t have an official announcement from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment as of yet, but here’s what we do know so far. Have a Laugh volumes 1 and 2 will be released on Disney DVD on October 26. All of the shorts have been fully restored and remastered.
Volume 1 consists of classics such as Goofy’s ‘How to Play Baseball’ and ‘How to Hook Up Your Home Theatre,’ ‘Lonesome Ghosts,’ ‘Mickey and the Seal,’ and ‘Feudin for Food” amongst others.
Volume 2 consists of classics such as Goofy’s ‘The Art of Skiing,’ ‘Pluto’s Sweater’ featuring Figaro and ‘Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip.’
Both DVDs also contain a ‘Re-MICKS’ which is a mash-up of clips from the shorts mashed together to popular music. Volume 1 features Queen’s ‘Another One Bites the Dust’ while volume 2 features ‘He Could be the One’ from Disney Channel’s ‘Hannah Montana’

Vinylmation News: Billiards Set Release Date, DisneyStore.com Additions
A couple of news items from the official Vinylmation blog today.
First is that the 16-piece set of the Vinylmation Billiards by Dawn Ockstadt will be released at D-Street at both the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts on July 23. The limited edition collection is limited to just 1,000 pieces and retails for for $255.95.
The blog also notes that we already reported early this morning, that the Have a Laugh, Urban 4 and Vinylmation Jr Series 2 have gone on sale at DisneyStore.com. Also available are the Plane Crazy/Park Series 4 combo and the Vinylmation Condiments set.

Vinylmation: Disneyland Release Dates for ‘Have a Laugh’ and ‘Urban #4′
We have confirmation that the Have A Laugh Series and Urban Series #4 will be released at Disneyland’s D Street located in Downtown Disney on July 2.
No dates for Walt Disney World or DisneyStore.com have been released as of yet, nor has there been a date mentioned for the Toy Story series which made its Disney Store debut at the Montebello ‘Imagination Park’ store earlier this week.

Vinylmation Announces Release Dates for Vinylmation Jr #2, Condiments and Bonus Park #4
Friday will see the release of two previously announced sets of Vinylmation series at the Walt Disney World resort plus an addition to the Park Series #4.
Plane Crazy Mickey (pictured) by Thomas Scott will come in a combo pack along with a random Park Series #4 figure.
Vinylmation Jr #2 which has already been released at the Disneyland Resort will be released this Friday at Walt Disney World as will the limited edition Vinylmation Condiments set, which will be available at both resorts. The 6 figure set is limited to 2,000 pieces and retails for $84.95.
In other news, @utedcp reports that the Toy Story vinylmation collection will be released at Walt Disney World’s D Street within the next week, according to Cast Members there, making the inquiry after we reported their current availability at the new Disney Store in Montebello. Vinylmation has made no formal announcement rgearding the series availability.

Vinylmation Offers First Look at Limited Edition Condiment, ‘Have a Laugh’ Series
No, there is nothing wrong with your monitor, these new Vinylmation figures from the Disney Design Group really do have alien-like extensions protruding from their heads. They are in fact the members of the limited edition Vinylmation Condiments series and we’re getting our first look at them courtesy of the official Vinylmation blog. Designed to represent the typical squeeze bottles for your favorite condiments, the colors are dead-on. In fact, we believe the honey bear Vinylmation will probably be worth the price of admission alone.
If you haven’t been keeping up with the Vinylmation blog, now’s a good time to do so. Over the past few days, the blog has been sharing actual photos of Vinylmations from its upcoming Have a Laugh series which features iconic characters from classic Disney films.
UPDATE: 6/10/10 – The Vinylmation Condiments collection will be released at the Disneyland Resort on June 25 (Walt Disney World and DisneyStore.com dates unknown at this time). It will retail for $84.95 and is limited to 2000 pieces.
