Humana Announces Winners of ‘G-Force’ Premiere Contest

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Three active kids are heading to Hollywood to join stars from “G-FORCE” on the red carpet. Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), a leading health-benefits company, today announced the winners of its “Operation Planet Savers” game, the latest in a series of games developed by Humana’s Games for Health team.

Winners of the “Operation Planet Savers” game will attend the red carpet premiere of Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “G-FORCE” movie on July 19 in Hollywood. Winners were chosen through a random drawing of those who played the game since it started on June 1. ”Operation Planet Savers” is part of a unique collaboration with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and is designed to impact children’s health in a fun and innovative way.

Humana’s ‘2009 GRANDparent of the Year’ to Win Family Vacation to an Orlando Theme Park

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Times may be tough, but a national effort has been launched to remind Americans with at least one grandparent in their families how rich they truly are.

“For the past several years grandparents have been playing an increasingly important role in helping America’s children and families, providing full-time care to millions of children,” says Christine Crosby, founder and publisher of GRAND magazine. “Now, with a major recession upon us, grandparents are bringing critical help and wisdom from hard times in the past to hold families together and keep them healthy. Humana Launches New Game to Get Kids Active, Contest to Win Trip to G-Force Premiere

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM), a leading health-benefits company, announced today a unique collaboration with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures that will impact children’s health in a fun and innovative way. “Operation Planet Savers” is a game developed and sponsored by Humana’s Innovation Center “Games for Health” team that combines real-world and online game play. The game offers kids a cool way to participate in physical, mental and social challenges this summer while getting excited about Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ G-Force, arriving in theaters July 24.

G-Force is about a team of secret agent guinea pigs on a mission to save the planet. Players of Operation Planet Savers, OPS for short, complete weekly training missions that require real-world activity and train the young game-players to become G-Force agents. Players can earn virtual prizes, like new G-Force holograms – unique to Humana and Disney – and sneak peeks at G-Force movie clips. OPS players also compete each week for prizes like an iPod nano and the grand prize – walking the red carpet at the G-Force movie premiere in Los Angeles.
