REPORT: Pixar’s ‘Inside Out’ on Blu-ray on November 3

Pixar Inside Out Theatrical PosterAhead of any official announcement, Amazon has listed the DVD version of Pixar Animation Studios’ Inside Out with a release date of November 3, 2015. There is, of course, a Blu-ray version listed along with an anticipated 3D Blu-ray, but the latter two do not have any release dates associated with them as of yet.

In addition, no news has been released in regards to bonus features, although we do anticipate the inclusion of the first short to take place inside the Inside Out universe, ‘Riley’s First Date.’ It’s also potentially likely that given that The Good Dinosaur is slated for release a few weeks later, on November 25, there may be a sneak peek for it as well. As usual, we will provide more information as it becomes available to us.

WATCH: ‘Inside Out’ Trailer from Russia Features a Whole Lotta Bing Bong

Pixar's Inside OutOur bad. We saw that Walt Disney Studios Russia had released a new trailer for Pixar’s Inside Out (June 17, 2015) yesterday, but judging by the first half of it, it looked exactly like the Spanish trailer, but boy were we wrong. Now that Bing Bong — who still isn’t officially unannounced — is available as a plush from Disney Store — not to mention fruit snacks — other countries don’t appear to mind sharing him. While the dialogue is no Richard Kind (or English), at least we can get a good visual instead of the glimpses in previous domestic promos.

SPECULATION: ‘Riley’s First Date’ to be ‘Inside Out’ Short on Blu-ray

Pixar Inside Out Theatrical PosterWe previously shared news that Inside Out (June 19, 2015) co-writer Josh Cooley had directed an all new short based in the Inside Out universe and today, via an MPAA ratings release, we believe we have the title: Riley’s First Date. The MPAA has rated the short G and the production company associated with it is Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment but given the timing  — which to be blunt doesn’t mean much — we now wonder if it’s the Inside Out Blu-ray that will include this bonus feature or if it will appear on another, closer Disney release.
