If you’re ready to tie the knot, then you could have the chance to propose to your partner during primetime! That’s right — pop the question on national TV! We’re looking for the ideal proposal which may be aired during a break in an episode of “The Bachelorette.” In the upcoming summer comedy, “The Proposal” (opening June 19), Sandra Bullock’s character takes the hand of her assistant (Ryan Reynolds) and drops to her knees-in the middle of a busy New York City sidewalk-to pop the question. Likewise, the proposal we’re looking for should be creative and original, expressing one’s own individual style.
Submissions for this unique experience can be made by potential newlyweds by visiting ABC.com and going to “The Bachelorette” site — beginning on MONDAY, MAY 18 through THURSDAY MAY 28 — and answering some questions about their relationships and why they want to propose on national television. Your proposal could be chosen to air during the MONDAY, JUNE 15 (8:00-10:02 p.m., ET) airing of “The Bachelorette” on the ABC Television Network.
