Disney's 'Secretariat' on Blu-ray/DVD Combo PackAmazon.com is now accept pre-orders for Disney’s Secretariat on Disney Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack.

Billed as the impossible true story,  Secretariat chronicles the spectacular journey of the 1973 Triple Crown winner.  Housewife and mother Penny Chenery (Diane Lane) agrees to take over her ailing father’s Virginia-based Meadow Stables, despite her lack of horse-racing knowledge.  Against all odds, Chenery—with the help of veteran trainer Lucien Laurin (John Malkovich)—manages to navigate the male-dominated business, ultimately fostering the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years and what may be the greatest racehorse of all time.

Walt Disney Studios has provided us with fourteen new stills and photos from its upcoming epic Secretariat, effectively doubling our existing gallery. The collection of stills gives us our first look at Amanda ‘AJ’ Michalka, Carissa Capobianco, Sean Michael Cunningham, Dylan Walsh, Jacob Rhodes and Kevin Connolly in their roles as well as featuring Diane Lane, John Malkovich, Nelsan Ellis and Otto Thorwath. The new stills have been added to the beginning of the gallery displayed below.

Walt Disney Studios has just sent us several more photos and stills from its October 8 release of Secretariat, ‘the impossible true story.’ The stills, which feature Dylan Baker and Drew Roy amongst the film’s stars Diane Lane and John Malkovich, have been added to the beginning of our gallery for the film below.

First Look: Theatrical Poster for Disney’s ‘Secretariat’

Full-length Trailer for ‘Secretariat’ Debuts Online

A few days ago, we were the first to bring you a first look at Walt Disney Studios’ Secretariat, ‘based on an impossible true story’ starring Diane Lane and John Malkovich.

Today, Disney has released the first trailer for the film which definitely lives up to the hype being generated around it with many calling this an Oscar year for Malkovich. You can view the trailer below.

We have just received these new stills from Walt Disney Studios’ Secretariat starring Diane Lane and John Malkovich.

Based on the remarkable true story, Secretariat chronicles the spectacular journey of the 1973 Triple Crown winner.  Housewife and mother Penny Chenery (Diane Lane) agrees to take over her ailing father’s Virginia-based Meadow Stables, despite her lack of horse-racing knowledge.  Against all odds, Chenery—with the help of veteran trainer Lucien Laurin (John Malkovich)—manages to navigate the male-dominated business, ultimately fostering the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years and what may be the greatest racehorse of all time.

Secretariat is expected to be released on October 8, 2010 and has been rated PG by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) for brief mild language.
