‘LIVE! with Kelly’ to Feature Jerry Seinfeld as First Guest Co-Host
On November 21, 2011, the iconic morning talk show will begin a new era. On “LIVE! with Kelly,” Kelly Ripa will welcome as guest co-host comedy superstar Jerry Seinfeld. Seinfeld, a long-time friend of the show, will join Ripa for three shows, airing November 21-23, 2011.
Among the guests stopping by to join Ripa and Seinfeld are actor Jason Segel, actress Kim Cattrall, comedian and host Howie Mandel, “Naked Chef” Jamie Oliver and the fabulous Miss Piggy from Disney’s The Muppets.
“Jerry is a great friend of ours, and a friend of Kelly’s, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s an entertainment icon,” said executive producer Michael Gelman. “It’s a great way to kick off the new beginning of our show.”
Entertainment icon Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy career took off after his first appearance on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” in 1981. Eight years later, he teamed up with fellow comedian Larry David to create what was to become one of the most successful series in the history of television, “Seinfeld.” The show ran on NBC for nine seasons, winning numerous Emmy, Golden Globe and People’s Choice awards, and was named the greatest television show of all time in 2009 by TV Guide. Since ending his hit series, Seinfeld has starred in, written and produced movies (Comedian, Bee Movie), executive-produced a television show (“The Marriage Ref”), directed and produced a Broadway hit (“Colin Quinn Long Story Short”), and even written a children’s book (Halloween). He remains active as a standup comedy performer, touring the country continuously. Seinfeld resides in New York City with his wife and three children.
“LIVE! with Kelly” is executive-produced by Michael Gelman and is distributed in national syndication by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Produced by WABC-TV in New York, “LIVE! with Kelly” airs in more than 200 markets across the U.S.

Kelly Ripa Returns to ‘All My Children’ January 4 and 5 for 40th Anniversary Special
ABC’s Emmy Award winning daytime drama, “All My Children” will celebrate its 40th Anniversary on January 5, 2010. In celebration of this milestone, the show will welcome the return of Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos and Eva La Rue in two special episodes airing on MONDAY, JANUARY 4 and TUESDAY, JANUARY 5.
“It is always great to come home,” says Kelly Ripa.
“As soon as a few of its colorful residents invaded my imagination over forty years ago, Pine Valley became my second home and family. A very large and loving family, beginning with the devoted writers and talented actors who bring the characters to life. Then production, from the executive producer and her staff, to studio crews, whose technical skills work the magic of television. And all this done day, after day, after day. Finally, but most importantly are the millions of viewers down the decades whose loyalty to All My Children and its quixotic characters has kept us on the air for 40 years. To this family, I am forever grateful,” says show creator, Agnes Nixon.
Ripa, Consuelos and La Rue will be joined by a list of fan-favorite veterans to celebrate “All My Children’s” 40th anniversary including; Julia Barr, Laurence Lau, Taylor Miller, James Mitchell, Leven Rambin and Eden Riegel. In story, Pine Valley will be elected “The Most Congenial Town in America.” Hayley (Kelly Ripa) and Mateo (Mark Consuelos) return to their home town for Hayley to produce and host a documentary for her television show “The Wave,” as she interviews her family members, friends and citizens who all call Pine Valley home.
The timing of the two special episodes also marks a new and exciting beginning for “All My Children,” as January 4 is the show’s first day of production in Los Angeles. The state of the art studio will allow the show to move into the future, broadcasting in high definition with more expansive studio space and sets which will enable creative growth and storytelling. The show’s first HD broadcast is anticipated sometime in February.
Created by Agnes Nixon, “All My Children” premiered on the ABC Television Network on January 5, 1970, as a half-hour show; seven years later it expanded to an hour. Julie Hanan Carruthers is executive producer. “All My Children” will be produced in Los Angeles, beginning January 4th, 2010 and airs MONDAY-FRIDAY (1:00-2:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Details Revealed for the 26th Annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. and ANAHEIM, Calif., Dec. 4 — ‘Tis the season to be merry at Disney Parks, when the 26th annual “Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade,” featuring award-winning musical talent and iconic stars performing in this year’s television special, airs December 25 on ABC-TV.
This year’s show promises to dazzle viewers with must-see performances by Celine Dion and Stevie Wonder. Pop sensations the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato spread joy to all as enchanting sounds from world-renowned musical artist Yanni and his Yanni Voices echo through the park. “American Idol” Season 8 winner, Kris Allen, will perform and “Wizards of Waverly Place” star Selena Gomez will make a special appearance in the annual telecast.
From the newest Disney Princess – Tiana – to Mickey Mouse and all his ‘toon pals,’ beloved Disney characters will embrace the holiday spirit aboard awe-inspiring floats that “deck the halls” as they glide through the Disney theme parks.
Two of television’s most popular celebrities will appear as the hosts of this year’s program. From the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida, popular morning show personality Kelly Ripa returns as host, doubling her duties while partner Regis Philbin recovers from recent surgery. At Disneyland Park in California, worldwide television and radio host Ryan Seacrest takes center stage for the West Coast festivities. Nick Cannon, from “America’s Got Talent” makes his “Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade” television debut as co-host/man-on-the-street for the telecast.
The two-hour televised special will air nationally in High-definition December 25 on ABC-TV at 10 a.m. Eastern and 9 a.m. Central, Mountain and Pacific times.
While parents and children prepare to offer their day of volunteer service in 2010, two families will share their encouraging stories during the parade telecast of how they’ve made a difference by volunteering in their hometown communities, the inspiring motives that moved them to give back and the lessons their children have taken with them along the way.
Throughout the telecast, chart-topping talent and award-winning artists from around the world come together to share in the Christmas merriment at Disney Parks. (Please note: all talent and floats subject to change)

UPDATE: WDW Celebrities for Disney Parks Christmas Parade Announced?
It appears that the oft-well-kept secret of who will be performing for the taped annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade has been released and the news isn’t good for fans of the Jonas Brothers who were the frontrunners in the rumor mill.
Even the Disneyland portion, which tapes first (and already has, earlier this month), seemed to be a big surprise as reporters scrambled to try to get a hint as to who might show.
But as for the Walt Disney World portion, a listing for the special on TV.com offers up a list of celebrities which meshes (for the most part) with the list of artists who were part of the Disneyland portion. Although Anika Noni Rose, Cheryl Burke and Tony Dovolani are missing from the cast list, it does properly list Selena Gomez, Stevie Wonder, Demi Lovato and host Ryan Seacrest.
Which, by process of elimination, leaves the WDW portion of the parade to include: American Idol winner Kris Allen, Disney Records recording artist newcomer Steve Rushton and Celine Dion. Of course just as with the Disneyland portion, there still remains plenty of room for additional surprise performers.
The non-surprise is that Live hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa are listed as hosts this year.
Update #1: December 3 – It’s being reported that — in addition to Kris Allen – Yanni and the Jonas Brothers are performing in the televised parade.
Update #2: December 4 – Regis Philbin will not be co-hosting this year due to recovery from recent surgery. Kelly Ripa will act as the sole host for the Walt Disney World portion and Nick Canon will be providing ‘man on the street’ type interviews
