Here’s something to bark about. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment invites you to fall in love all over again with Lady and the Tramp, available to own on Disney Diamond Edition Blu-ray/DVD on February 7, 2012.
A thrilling adventure with the most unforgettable characters, Walt Disney’s Lady and the Tramp features: Lady, a lovingly pampered cocker spaniel; Tramp, a mutt from across the tracks with a heart of gold; Jock and Trusty, Lady’s best friends; and Si and Am, two of the most devious cats to prowl across the screen. The happiest of endings takes place on a lovely bella notte as Lady learns what it means to be footloose and leash-free.
While faithfully being preserved in the original Cinemascope aspect ration of 2.55:1 (marking this as the first Disney animated film to be in widescreen format), the Diamond Edition also features 7.1 DTS-HD master audio.
Bonus features include:
- Classic DVD bonus features
- Diane Disney Miller: Remembering Dad
- PuppyPedia: Going to the Dogs
- Disney Second Screen
- Inside Walt’s Story Meeting
- Audio Commentary: Inside Walt’s Story Meetings
- Three never-before-seen deleted scenes

Disney fans can now send Hallmark e-cards that feature original scenes from their favorite Disney movies. Hallmark.com is introducing eight new Disney premium e-cards featuring scenes and characters from popular Disney films such as Bambi, Camp Rock, Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story, Hannah Montana, Lady and the Tramp and The Lion King. The Disney premium e-cards were developed in collaboration with Disney Consumer Products.
“The e-cards featuring new and classic Disney movies are something our consumers have been asking for and we know they’ll love,” said Shelley Mathews, Hallmark e-card manager. “We think the Disney e-cards will resonate with people because they enable the sender to connect with loved ones through some of most memorable scenes from the Disney library.”
