Amazon has put up a track list for the upcoming Cinderella entry in the Disney Music Emporium Legacy Collection, commemorating the 65th anniversary of the animated film. Featuring artwork by Walt Disney Animation artist Lorelay Bove, Amazon describes the 2 disc set as containing 7 lost chords (which all appear to have been previously released as part of the ‘Lost Chords’ collection), along with 9 bonus tracks. The track listing, as per Amazon, is as follows:
With an originally advertised release date of March 17, 2015 looming dangerously near with no official mention of the Toy Story 20th Anniversary entry in the Disney Music Emporium’s Legacy Collection, several readers have reached out to us asking if we had any additional information. We, in turn, have reached out to Disney Music to confirm rumors that the Toy Story album may be delayed and we regret to report that a delay has in fact been confirmed to us. While we have seen reports about a May release, the information given to us by Disney Music was not quite as optimistic, offering only that the release date is officially ‘to be determined’ and Disney is hopeful that it is ready for release by the time Disney D23 Expo happens in August. Specific reasons for its delay were not provided, however it is interesting to note that one of the titles — Cinderella — was announced for an early release at the Expo, but has been moved up by over a month.
Disney Music Emporium has shared the track list for its upcoming 75th anniversary Legacy Collection tribute to Pinocchio, available on February 10, 2015 (now available for pre-order.) The two-disc set features a restored version of the original soundtrack, three ‘lost chords’ that have been newly produced in the style they may have appeared in the film and five bonus tracks featuring Jiminy Cricket, as performed by Cliff Edwards. As with all of the other entries in the collection thus far, the album features original art inspired by the film by Lorelay Bove.
Walt Disney Records has unveiled the track listing for the four-CD collection that composes the next entry in the Legacy collection, the 75th anniversary of Walt Disney’s Fantasia, which is available to own on January 13 and is now available for pre-order. The collection consists of the original Leopold Stokowski Soundtrack, the digital re-recording by Irwin Kostal, the original score for the Deleted ‘Clair De Lune’ Sequence, 2 bonus tracks: ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ and ‘Peter and the Wolf,’ both read by Sterling Halloway, plus enchanting illustrations, original concept art and more.
