‘Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens’ Trademarks Reveal New Character, Captain Phasma

Star Wars: The Force AwakensLucasfilm and Walt Disney Studios recently announced the names for several of the characters featured in the trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (December 18, 2015). On December 11, Lucasfilm went ahead and registered several related applications for several of these characters, including: BB-8, the ball-droid; Kylo Ren, the sith; and Poe Dameron, the X-Wing Fighter pilot.

FIRST LOOK: Jon Favreau’s ‘The Jungle Book’ Concept Art

'The Jungle Book' Concept ArtVia the film’s official Facebook page, Walt Disney Studios has released the first concept art for Jon Favreau’s live action/CGI hybrid The Jungle Book (October 9, 2015), currently in production.

According to the concept art’s description, Mowgli — a man-cub raised in the jungle by a family of wolves — embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery when he’s forced to abandon the only home he’s ever known.

Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie Join ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Cast

Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm have announced that Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o  and Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth from HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’) have joined the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII, in theaters on December 18, 2015.

The two join fellow actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow, along with the original stars of the Saga Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker in the new film.
