eFX Assembles Line of Marvel Universe Prop Replicas
After making full-scale prop replicas and collectibles for some of the most iconic science-fiction, fantasy and action franchises of all time, eFX Inc. announced today that it will unveil an all-new line based on film and comics characters in the Marvel Universe.
eFX, which has acquired worldwide rights to create Marvel collectibles, plans to reveal its new line of Marvel collectibles in the first quarter of 2012, and to display the first collectible prop replicas from the upcoming Marvel film The Avengers at WonderCon in Anaheim, California, from March 16 to March 18.
Stan Lee to Narrate More Marvel ‘Origin’ Apps for iOS, Available in February
Disney Publishing Worldwide announced today that two more storybook app titles based on the original Marvel Origins series will join ‘The Amazing Spider-Man: An Origin Story‘ app, which launched last month. The new titles, both narrated by comic book legend Stan Lee, include ‘Avengers Origins: Hulk’ and ‘Avengers Origins: Assemble!’ which will be available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch in February 2012.
‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ to Debut on Disney XD in April
We have learned that the widely anticipated animated series Ultimate Spider-Man, based on the Marvel comic title of the same name, will debut on Disney XD on April 1, 2012. The show will be the centerpiece of a programming block dedicated to Marvel properties.
The series follows Peter Parker (Drake Bell) one year after he became Spider-Man. Still learning how to make the most of his powers, he is approached by Nick Fury (Chi McBride) of S.H.I.E.L.D. who promises to help Peter, but first Peter must learn to work as a team with his fellow teenaged superheroes. Expected to appear in the series are Tony Stark/Iron Man (Adrian Pasdar), Norman Osborn (Steven Weber), J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons), Agent/Principal Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), Wasp, Captain America, Hulk and Thor.
New Pixar ‘Toy Story’ Comics Coming from Marvel in 2012
Marvel Comics today announced that it has joined forces with Disney Publishing to produce a new limited series of comics based on Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story. This will be the first new issue of a title previously produced by BOOM! Comics who no longer have the Disney license.

Marvel Sends ‘Prep & Landing’ Crew to Avengers Mansion in Comics Crossover
There’s very little doubt that Tony Stark and the rest of The Avengers are on the nice list this year, so it makes perfect sense that the popular duo of Wayne and Lanny from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ ‘Prep & Landing’ animated special perform their most daunting task to date: Avengers Mansion.
Marvel will be publishing the first issue of the new crossover series on November 16, according to the official Facebook page of Walt Disney Animation Studios, who also provided a sneak peek.
The issue is subtitled ‘Mansion: Impossible,’ although we’ll probably be calling it ‘Mission: Impossibelf’ just because.

Marvel Studios announced today that the trailer for next summer’s most highly anticipated movie, Marvel’s The Avengers, has been downloaded over 10 million times in its first 24 hours on iTunes Movie Trailers shattering the most-viewed trailer record in the site’s history.
The trailer, which debuted Tuesday, October 11, exclusively on iTunes Movie Trailers, gives fans a sneak peak at Marvel’s The Avengers — the Super Hero team up of a lifetime — based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series The Avengers, first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since.

‘Strange’ Domain Registrations May Point to Next Marvel Studios Project
Last week, Disney Music Group registered several domain names for upcoming television and movie soundtracks, many of which are already announced projects from Marvel Studios. The only registration that relates to an unannounced project, but is known to be in the works, is that of Doctor Strange. Known to be in development for a very long period of time, Marvel Studios has made news in the recent past by hiring Thomas Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer to write the latest script and have reportedly shopped it around to potential directors.
