With just over a week before the New York International Toy Fair, Mezco has teased a Marvel Captain America action figure as part of its One:12 Collective line, a series of intricately detailed, highly articulated and well-accessorized action figures done to a 1:12 scale.
While no official details have been released beyond this teaser image, the action figures in the already established line usually retail in the range of $70-$75 and feature dozens of points of articulation as well as change-out hands and heads and accessories specific to the character.
Marvel and TinyCo have officially launched ‘Marvel Avengers Academy,’ a freemium simulation game which re-imagines Marvel characters as high schoolers and allows the gamer to create their own superhero academy. It is now available free on the App store.

After having made their recent debut on Marvel.com, Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios have provided us with all of the released concept art for Marvel’s Doctor Strange (November 4, 2016) in ultra high resolution for your enjoyment. The images include the Chamber of Relics and the Sanctum Sanctorum as well as an image of Doctor Strange following his accident (titled ‘Checkmate’) and a couple of images clearly depicting Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role. For your benefit, we have chosen to keep all images at their original resolution — which for the Doctor Strange profile clocks in at nearly 30 megapixels.
As part of its 2016 film preview, Walt Disney Studios as well as Marvel Studios have provided us with new hi-res stills from upcoming films such as Alice Through the Looking Glass (May 27, 2016), The Jungle Book (April 15, 2016), Captain America: Civil War (May 6, 2016) and concept art of the Sanctim Sanctorum from Doctor Strange (November 4, 216). Earlier this year, we shared news that 2016 would be a good year for fans of Disney’s Haunted Mansion as Disney is preparing to launch a brand new novelized series based on the attraction as well as a new theme park exclusive series of book/cd inspired by classic attractions. In addition, Marvel today announced it too will be representing the Haunted Mansion as the next chapter in its Disney Kingdoms saga.
Today, Disney Publishing Worldwide released some inside pages as well as additional information about the novels, beginning with Volume I: The Fearsome Foursome (formerly sub-titled The Frightmare Fraternity), which is slated for release in July and now available for pre-order.
