With less than two weeks left until the launch of ‘Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes,’ Disney Interactive today is offering a first look at two more additions to the Marvel Super Heroes line-up. Joining the already assembled team will be Yondu, from Marvel’s box office hit Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America’s loyal ally, Falcon.
Marvel and New York Comic-Con today announced that Marvel will be bringing the second season of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ as well as Netflix’s upcoming ‘Daredevil’ to the stages during this year’s Comic Con.
On Friday, October 10, ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ will take to the stage as Marvel’s head of television, Jeph Loeb, will make new announcements as well as premiere an upcoming episode of the second season before its television debut on October 14. Loeb will also host a ‘Marvel Animation Presents’ presentation, providing an exclusive first look at content from season two of ‘Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.’ and the future of Marvel Animation.
ABC Studios has provided us with stills from the season two premiere of ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’, titled ‘Shadows,’ premiering on the ABC television network on Tuesday, September 23, at 9:00 pm ET/PT. Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios have provided us with high resolution versions a recently released stills which feature Baymax and Hiro as well as the film’s villain, Yokai, from their upcoming film, Big Hero 6 (November 7, 2014). Disney Consumer Products and Marvel today announced the debut of an annual national multi-platform campaign aimed at taking the Marvel brand to new heights — ‘Marvel Super Hero September.’ Launching this September, the month-long celebration will showcase what being a Super Hero is all about by encouraging the public to ‘Power Up Like a Marvel Super Hero.’ This will be done through a supercharged lineup of retail partnerships, licensing partners, advertising, and online activations. The strategy will place a stake in the ground for the Marvel brand, celebrating the entertainment company’s rich 75 year history and its wide array of characters.
After making its debut during ‘The Story of Frozen: Making An Animated Classic,’ Walt Disney Animation Studios has released the first official clip from its upcoming film, Big Hero 6 (November 7, 2014). The clip, in which Hiro meets nurse robot Baymax for the first time (or ‘Diagnosis: Puberty’), can be found embedded below. The clip originally premiered for an audience during the film’s panel at this past summer’s San Diego Comic-Con.
Short on details, Walt Disney Studios has confirmed its plans to present at the 2014 New York Comic Con on Thursday, October 9, 2014.
Walt Disney Animation Studios presents an exclusive look at their follow-up to last year’s Frozen, Big Hero 6 (November 7, 2014) with directors Don Hall and Chris Williams, producer Roy Conli and special guests. We already know that Scott Adsit, voice of Baymax, will be attending the Comic-Con for other purposes, so it’s likely he too will join the presentation.
Our friends at Entertainment Earth have graciously informed us that they are now accepting pre-orders for the fabulous Big Hero 6 series of POP! Vinyl collectibles from Funko. The series consists of GoGo Tomago, Honey Lemon, Wasabi (No-Ginger), Fred and — of course — Hiro. Also being released are extra large 6″ versions of Baymax in both mech and a special ‘pearlescent’ nurse version. Most of the figures are set to be released in October with the pearlescent Baymax in November/December.

Walt Disney Animation Studios has provided us with high resolution versions of two recently released stills from Patrick Osborne’s short, Feast, which will play before Big Hero 6 (November 7, 2014).
Feast, a new short from first-time director Patrick Osborne (head of animation for Paperman) and Walt Disney Animation Studios, is the story of one man’s love life as seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share.
Disney Interactive today officially announced the inclusion of two of the stars from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Big Hero 6 (November 7, 2014): Hiro and a fully armored Baymax. Along with the two Toy Box 2.0 figures, a power disc featuring the talents of chemistry wiz Honey Lemon was also announced. You can find additional photos of the figures, concept art, screens (which also include good looks at Medua’s boat from The Rescuers and Jim Hawkin’s surfboard from Treasure Planet), the trailer and more embedded below. The official descriptions (which apparently include a minor spoiler) for the newly announced figures and power disc are as follows:
