Muppet Whatnot Separates Now Sold.. Separately

FAO Schwarz, currently the exclusive location to purchase an official Muppet Whatnot (until the Whatnot locations come to the US theme parks), has now begun selling the outfits individually for $19.99 each. Previously, only a single outfit was able to be purchased during the actual Whatnot creation.

Unfortunately, searching for whatnot or muppets on the site simply takes you to the creation process right now, so there’s no easy way to locate the outfits, but if you search for Disney, you’ll find all the outfits. There’s also a garment bag currently being sold for $5 (marked down from $19.99).

Toy Fair 2010: Square Enix Brings Tidings of Kingdom Hearts, Pixar and Nightmare Before Christmas

Disney Theatrical merchandise at Disney Store Times Square Square Enix of Kingdom Hearts fame continues its exciting collection of collectible figures from the series as well as other Disney properties this year.

Expected to be released this month is the adorable set of Kingdom Hearts avatar mascot straps. The Play Arts #2 King Mickey rules the collection, however, expected to be released in July along with the gift of joy provided by Santa Sora. Also expected to be released in July is the highly anticipated Pixar Formation Arts collection featuring characters from Wall-E, Ratatouille and UP.

Disneyland’s Vault 28 to Hold ‘Alice’ Merchandise Event March 6; Dooney & Bourke Coming

Dooney & Bourke large Disney toteDisney Vault 28 and D Street located in the Downtown Disney district of the Disneyland Resort will jointly be holding an Alice in Wonderland merchandise event on Saturday, March 6.

Events taking place that day include:

  • Alice in Wonderland inspired offerings will include the following:
  • Tarina Tarantino Trunk Show with Sales Manager, Jennifer Goldstein from 2 pm – 6 pm (Disney Vault 28)
  • Mini Makeovers by Sephora from 2 pm – 6 pm (between Disney Vault 28 and D Street)
  • Alice in Wonderland Merchandise all day (Disney Vault 28 & D Street)

Downtown Disney in Orlando to Receive D-Street, RIDEMAKERZ

Walt Disney World has officially announced that the Downtown Disney area in Walt Disney World will soon be receiving a couple of shops that have already recently made the Disneyland Resort their home.

Vinylmation will find its east coast home in D Street, an urban art-inspired shop that has already proven itself successful since opening in Anaheim just a few months ago.

DTD will also receive a RIDEMAKERZ, a place for guests to custom design and build their own radio controlled vehicles.

MINDstyle to Experiment on Aliens (from Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story)

Toy Story Alien Figures from MINDStyleFollowing the success of its Experiment 626 Project in which artists put their unique spins on Stitch-shaped vinyl figures and the recently announced mini-Stitch figures, MINDstyle announced today that it will be releasing a series of figures based on the alien from Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story series. According to the graphic, we can expect the invasion to begin in early summer.

Champion to Open Custom Tee Shirt Center at ESPN Wide World of Sports

Concept art for the Champion Custom Tee Center at ESPN Wide World of SportsOn the official Disney Parks blog, Walt Disney World has announced that Champion will open a Custom Tee Center later this month in which those competing at events at the ESPN Wide World of Sports can take their event tees to the center and choose from over 50 embellishments to add to the tee, ranging in cost from $1.95 – $4.95 each.

The main location for the center will be inside the Jostens Center, across from the entrance to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill, but mobile units will be dispatched across the complex as needed by events as they happen.
