im3minimates 109x160 Iron Man 3 Tony Stark, Extremist Solider Minimates Revealed In support of the latest Iron Man 3 trailer, Diamond Select Toys today revealed two additional figures from their Minimates collection, shown here.

Pictured on top of the ‘Suit Up’ Tony Stark Minimate figure which will be one of four figures exclusive to Toys ‘R’ Us, packaged along with a to-be-revealed figure. The ‘Suit Up’ figure is sporting part of the Mark 42 armor which can be summoned and controlled via mental link in the film, as evidened in the trailer. The boots and gauntlets will be removable and Tony will also come with regular hands and shoes.

The second figure revealed today is an Extremis Soldier, who comes packaged with Iron Patriot and will be available at comic shops and specialty stores as well as Toys ‘R’ Us. These super-strong operatives are shown receiving the Extremis treatment in the trailer and the Minimate will come with a removable vest, a pistol, and interchangeable hair pieces to create different looks.

The other Minimates that have been revealed are Iron Man Mark 42 with The Mandarin (shared between specialty and Toys ‘R’ Us), the specialty-exclusive War Machine with Maya Hansen, and the specialty exclusive Cowboy Disguise Tony Stark with Aldrich Killian.

‘Peter Pan’ Minimates Collection at Disney Store in March

peterpanminimates 160x92 Peter Pan Minimates Collection at Disney Store in MarchDiamond Select Toys has announced that they will be producing the first ever Disney Minimates collection for Peter Pan to commemorate the release of the animated classic’s Diamond Edition on Blu-ray Peter Pan Minimates Collection at Disney Store in March.

Two boxed sets of four Minimates mini-figures each will be available in the collection. The first set will include Peter and three of the lost boys:? Cubby, Tootles and Nibs. Peter comes with a miniature version of Tinker Bell that can hover over his shoulder. The second set will include Michael, John, Captain Hook and a full-sized figure of Tinker Bell. Both sets will include standing bases to support each character, as well as one flying base each, so you can have Peter and Tink float above the ground.

In addition to the two four-packs, Pan fans will be able to purchase the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook’s pirate ship. With doors that open and extending planks, the Jolly Roger has two removable and adjustable masts and comes with two exclusive figures: Wendy and Smee.

Each Minimate stands 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation, for a full range of poseability. The Peter Pan Minimates collection will be available exclusively at Disney Store beginning in early March.
