VIDEO: ‘Monsters, Inc 3D’ Trailer Debuts Online

Monsters Inc 3D Teaser PosterWalt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation Studios have debuted the trailer for Monsters Inc 3D, which debuts in theaters nationwide on December 19, 2012 (the embedded version below comes from Walt Disney Studios UK which is why it features an alternate date).

The Academy Award®-winning animated comedy adventure Monsters, Inc. returns to the big screen—now in 3D—with lovable Sulley (voiced by John Goodman) and his wisecracking best friend Mike Wazowski (voiced by Billy Crystal) as they struggle to help a little girl named Boo (voiced by Mary Gibbs) find her way home from Monstropolis in the midst of a wild and mysterious cover-up.

Monsters, Inc. 3D will be followed by its prequel, Monsters University, which debuts theatrically on June 21, 2013.
