Disney is currently looking for Apple iPad owners in the Los Angeles area to help test the new ‘Second Screen Live’ app, allowing movie-goers to interact with and experience movies in a whole new way. Beginning tonight, Disney will offer several screenings of Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas employing the app which will allow guests to ‘participate in fun challenges, speed trivia, sing-alongs and more for the chance to win prizes and play against other fans in the audience.’
Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios have provided us with the first official teaser poster for Iron Man 3 which will be in theaters beginning May 3, 2013. The teaser poster comes in advance of the first official trailer which will be released domestically via iTunes at midnight tonight PT/3 am ET.
In Marvel’s Iron Man 3, brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr., is pitted against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. Tinker Bell and her sister Periwinkle took to the Mainland earlier today to play host to the premiere of Secret of the Wings in New York City. The fairy twins — born of the same baby’s laugh — graciously welcomed some of the cast and crew from the film along with local celebrities and their families.
In attendance were Mae Whitman (Tinker Bell), Anjelica Huston (Queen Clarion), Timothy Dalton (Lord Milori), Raven Symone (Iridessa), Matt Lanter (Sled) and filmmakers Peggy Holmes and Michael Wigert. Joining them were Disney Channel star Debby Ryan, celebrity stylist Ken Paves, Miss USA Oliva Culpo, Kerry Butler, Mike Tyson, Clare Foley, Alexis Welch, Faith Wladyka, Brent Zachery and more.
It’s been months since we shared the news that The Muppet Christmas Carol will be finding its way onto Disney Blu-ray on November 6 with very few details to go on due to a lack of an official press release. Today that has changed — a little.

Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a new clip from its upcoming film, Wreck-It Ralph, titled ‘Bad Guys Second Thoughts.’ In the clip, Ralph shares his aspirations to overcome the hurdle as being known as the ‘bad guy’ and his desire to achieve recognition and a medal at the local Bad-Anon meeting. The news leads to worries that Ralph may be ‘going Turbo’ by wishing to play cards beyond those that were dealt to him.
After a brief lecture from Clyde of Pac-Man fame, the meeting adjourns with the daily bad guy affirmation: I’m bad and that’s good. I will never be good and that’s not bad. There is noone I’d rather be than me.
Disney D23, the official fan club for The Walt Disney Company, has announced that it will be offering its members the opportunity to see Wreck-It Ralph from Walt Disney Animation Studios during the week of October 22 for free, ahead of the film’s official opening on November 2, 2012
