Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released a clip from the brand new ‘Alan Menken and Friends’ bonus feature from the 25th anniversary edition of the immortal classic, Beauty and the Beast, on Blu-ray September 20, 2016 (now available for pre-order), with an earlier digital release on September 6. The segment features Alan Menken joined by Lin-Manual Miranda (currently working on Moana), Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez (currently working on Gigantic and the Broadway adaptation of Frozen) and Stephen Schwartz.
In honor of the upcoming 25th anniversary of Beauty and the Beast on Blu-ray available to own on September 20, 2016, Disney Movies Anywhere has released this sneak peek of one of the bonus features which includes some of the cast performing a table reading of the upcoming live action re-imagining.

Del Rey has released the official synopsis for James Luceno’s upcoming Catalyst, a prequel novel leading up to the events in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (December 16, 2016). Releasing just one month before on November 15, 2016, Catalyst (now available for pre-order). The 352 page novel goes deeper into the Rogue One mythos, describing the events that lead up to the attempted scheme to steal the plans to the Death Star. The publisher’s description is as follows:
A team of Star Wars superfans today revealed the new toy line for the highly anticipated Rogue One: A Star Wars Story movie via a series of fan-made animated shorts launching on the Star Wars YouTube channel. Disney Movies Anywhere has announced that as of August 23, 2016, Fios by Verizon has become the first multichannel video programming distributor to join its cloud-based digital movie service platform. The launch coincides with the digital release of Disney’s hit film The Jungle Book.
The British Board of Film Classification has detailed the deleted and extended scenes from the 3D Collector’s Edition Blu-ray for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, available to own on September 13 (now available for pre-order), as well as all of the bonus feature lengths.
