Today at the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, California, Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm debuted the second teaser trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (December 18, 2015), which you can find embedded below.
Today at the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, California, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (December 18, 2015) director JJ Abrams announced that one of the settings for the film will not be Tatooine has others have suspected, but a new location known as Jakku.
We have learned earlier today that as part of the promotion for the film, Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm registered a domain name for the film titled PlanetJakku.com. At this time, the site is dormant but Abrams teased that we may be learning more about the location very soon, so it is likely the site will be turned into a viral marketing website.
Yesterday, Marvel released details for the upcoming original motion picture soundtrack for Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015) which will be available to own digitally on April 28 and on physical CD on May 19 (now available for pre-order).
In all, 28 tracks from the score were release (listed below). And while one track isn’t actually in the film (Danny Elfman’s ‘Heroes’), we were greeted with another surprise when a copy of the soundtrack landed on our virtual doorstep: a 29th track. It’s scored by Elfman and its overly complicated title is: ‘New Avengers – Avengers: Age of Ultron’ and it clocks in at 3:09, making it one of the longest tracks on the score. We have reached out to Hollywood Records for clarification and will update with additional information as it becomes available to us.

Earlier this evening, Marvel Unlimited sent out an email to its Unlimited Plus members offering the first fifteen to respond the opportunity for them and their guests to attend the event as ‘VIP Super Fans.’ While those slots are most likely filled by now, Marvel notes that the event will be open to all fans (and presumably anyone who wishes to attend ‘Good Morning America’) and confirms it will be held outside in Times Square, just outside GMA’s Studios.
We previously shared news that Inside Out (June 19, 2015) co-writer Josh Cooley had directed an all new short based in the Inside Out universe and today, via an MPAA ratings release, we believe we have the title: Riley’s First Date. The MPAA has rated the short G and the production company associated with it is Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment but given the timing — which to be blunt doesn’t mean much — we now wonder if it’s the Inside Out Blu-ray that will include this bonus feature or if it will appear on another, closer Disney release.
