Musicians Wanted by Walt Disney World for Interactive Entertainment Experience

Casting notices have gone up seeking saxophone, clarinet and percussionists with ‘energetic and outgoing personalities’ for a new entertainment experience at the Magic Kingdom. There is no indication where the performances will be held, but the theme park has recently put out casting calls for circus acts and other improv groups believed to be used as part of the New Fantasyland Expansion at the Magic Kingdom.

ABC’s ‘Nashville’ Music to be Released Weekly on iTunes by Big Machine Records

ABC Studios and Big Machine Records, the leading independent Nashville-based record label home to superstars such as Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts, announced today an exclusive partnership to release and market music from the critically-acclaimed upcoming ABC series “Nashville.” Stars Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Charles Esten, Jonathan Jackson, Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio are among the cast slated to sing original content created for the series by established and breakout songwriters. Grammy® Award-winning producer T Bone Burnett serves as the executive music producer. Walt Disney Records has released the full track list for its upcoming release titled ‘Frankenweenie Unleashed!,’ a compilation of music inspired by the Tim Burton film from popular alternative recording artists.

A feature-length stop-motion remake of the original short film by Burton, Frankenweenie is a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new ‘leash on life’ can be monstrous.

Disney to Release ‘New’ Music from ‘The Aristocats,’ ‘The Rescuers’

Sneak Peek: ‘Fashion is My Kryptonite’ from ‘Shake It Up: Japan’ with Bella Thorne, Zendaya

This Friday, Disney Channel will premiere the all-new music video for ‘Fashion is My Kryptonite from the upcoming special, ‘Shake It Up: Japan’ during the broadcast of Toy Story 3 (beginning at 8 pm ET). Performed by Bella Thorne and Zendaya, the music video also features ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ host Cat Deeley.

In the music video, Bella and Zendaya travel through a secret closet door into a fantastical fashion wonderland filled with high style and runways. The song was written by Ben Charles and the music video was directed by Marc Klasfeld (Katy Perry’s ‘Last Friday Night,’ China Anne McClain’s ‘Calling All The Monsters’).
