Disney Parks Joins the Orlando Magic and Amway Center as ‘Champions of the Community’

“We are honored to have the global brand of Disney, which has been such a fixture of this community for nearly 40 years, join us as a ‘Champions of the Community’ sponsor,” said Orlando Magic President Alex Martins. “As a long-standing member of the Central Florida community, Disney has established a great legacy that we hope to build upon at the Amway Center. ESPN Flaunts ‘Ultimate Uplink’ Technology with Virtual In-Studio Interview

Orlando Magic center Dwight ‘Superman’ Howard reversed the world’s spin yesterday to manipulate time and make an ‘in-studio’ appearance at the ESPN Studios in Connecticut while simultaneously existing in the flesh in Orlando. New technology created at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World allows the virtual projection of a ‘hologram,’ allowing an individual in one physical location appear to be in another altogether (some assembly required).

Disney and the NBA Team Up to Offer Mickey & Friends Tees Inspired by the 2009 NBA Finals
