Disney Music Emporium has shared the track list for its upcoming 75th anniversary Legacy Collection tribute to Pinocchio, available on February 10, 2015 (now available for pre-order.) The two-disc set features a restored version of the original soundtrack, three ‘lost chords’ that have been newly produced in the style they may have appeared in the film and five bonus tracks featuring Jiminy Cricket, as performed by Cliff Edwards. As with all of the other entries in the collection thus far, the album features original art inspired by the film by Lorelay Bove.
Starting with The Lion King for its 20th anniversary, Walt Disney Records’ Disney Music Emporium recently debuted its incredibly well received series of soundtracks revisited with its Legacy Collection. To celebrate the revitalized success of one of the most highly regarded animated films in cinematic history, Disney Music invited The Lion King‘s filmmakers to gather together to reminisce about a project that could never have anticipated its ultimate legacy in its contributions to both worlds of cinema and music.
Walt Disney Records’ newly created line of collectible CDs, Walt Disney Records The Legacy Collection, will celebrate the anniversaries of Disney’s most cherished and classic properties that have been enchanting audiences for generations. BURBANK, Calif. (June 9, 2009) — Bringing together the masterful storytelling of Disney with the renowned artistry of eFX Inc., an all-new line of limited-edition collectibles will be unveiled this September, inspired by some of Disney’s classic films and the comic antics of the Muppets.
These new collectibles extend the magic of Disney into pieces that recall the beauty and spectacle that is unique to Disney, beginning with a tribute to the “fairest of them all,” SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS.
eFX plans to preview several pieces from its new Disney collection during San Diego Comic-Con in July, and at Disney’s first-ever D23 Expo, Sept. 10 to Sept. 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
