“We had great fun searching for the typical and symbolic codes of the Pirates of the Caribbean‘ universe. Without being clichéd, we looked for a way to interpret symbols and figurative motifs in a modern way that is always the signature of Swarovski collections. The overall twist is a modern ‘rock-inspired,’ edgy collection,” says Nathalie Colin, Swarovski Creative Director.
In association with the new clip released yesterday demonstrating Captain Jack Sparrow’s daring escape from King George II and St. James Palace, Walt Disney Studios has provided us with five new stills from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides which have been added to the beginning of our gallery below. Debuted exclusively by Yahoo! Movies, this clip from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides titled ‘Palace Escape,’ picks up early in the film where Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) finds himself at the hands of Britan’s King George II and former ship-mate Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) who has opted to join the British Royal Navy in their expedition. Sparrow, who is in fact guilty of being guilty of being Jack Sparrow, manages to find a way out of the situation, true-to-form, all the while managing to rescue a puff pastry that managed to find its way into the chandelier just prior.

Since then, we had a brief encounter with Jack once more at the New York International Toy Fair, but we were still nonetheless surprised encountering Jack at one of his first public installations — the world famous FAO Schwarz on Fifth Avenue.
Just a day or two ago, FAO had replaced all of its LEGO sculptures with new ones including a life-size Indiana Jones and a monumentally-sized Statue of Liberty.
