Now in its 32nd year, the unforgettable Christmas special welcomes back Robin Roberts of ABC’s “Good Morning America” (GMA) as lead host. Reporting from the Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Fla., Roberts is accompanied by Jesse Palmer, who joins the event for the first time as a correspondent. New to the GMA team as a special contributor, Palmer shares key parade updates in the midst of the action on Main Street, U.S.A. Janel Parrish, star of the ABC Family hit show “Pretty Little Liars” – which will debut under the new network name, Freeform for its winter premiere on January 12, 2016 – serves as music correspondent alongside Stitch from the Cinderella Castle.

Yesterday, Walt Disney World taped several performances for its upcoming ‘2015 Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration’ annual parade special which will air on ABC on December 25 at 10 am ET, 9 am all other time zones. Disney Parks has provided us with several photos from the taping which included performances by Reba McEntire, Seal, Charlie Puth, Tori Kelly, David Foster and the cast of ‘Descendants’ (Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart and Sofia Carson), along with appearances by ‘Pretty Little Liars’ star Janel Parrish. More than four years ago, Disney Music Group closed the doors of its country music label, Lyric Street Records. Despite its size, it represented some of the largest acts in country music including SHeDAISY and — most notably — Rascal Flatts. While Disney attempted to shift most of its acts to other music divisions, the most successful of the lot took the news by leaving Disney altogether.
ABC Family scares up the 2013 13 NIGHTS OF HALLOWEEN celebration, with programming filled with scares and frights as you countdown to Halloween. The popular programming event, now in its 15th year, starting Saturday, October 19th, and concludes on Thursday, October 31st, features a brand new episode of “Pretty Little Liars” and the highly anticipated premiere of spinoff series “Ravenswood.” The stunt will also include the ABC Family feature film premiere of “Men in Black,” the network premiere of “Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story OF TERROR!,” and a ghoulish mix of Halloween-themed programming airing for the 13 nights leading up to Halloween.
ABC Family has greenlit the original one-hour drama series ‘Ravenswood,’ a spin-off of their number one- rated series ‘Pretty Little Liars.’ ‘Pretty Little Liars’ has also been picked up for a fifth season it was announced today by Michael Riley, President ABC Family. Both series will be produced by Warner Horizon Television.
From ‘Pretty Little Liars’ executive producers I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Joseph Dougherty and Leslie Morgenstein, ‘Ravenswood’ will center on a town, not far from Rosewood, PA (the home base of ‘Pretty Little Liars’), which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations. Five strangers suddenly find themselves connected by this fatal curse and need to dig into the town’s mysterious and terrible history before it’s too late for each of them. The series will premiere on ABC Family following the annual “Pretty Little Liars” special Halloween episode in October 2013.
ABC Family will kick off the New Year with all new episodes of returning original hit series and fan favorites “Switched at Birth,” “Bunheads,” “Pretty Little Liars” and “The Lying Game,” all set to premiere the second week of January 2013, with two nights of original programming. Viewers can also catch up on all their favorite shows leading up to the January premieres on abcfamily.com.
