Disney twenty-three magazine gives readers exclusive sneak previews of three of the most highly anticipated movies of the year in its all-new Summer issue, which premieres April 19 with three different covers to celebrate Disney-Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 3.
Walt Disney Records will release the original soundtrack for Walt Disney Pictures’ and Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME on May 25, 2010. The recording features an epic, romantic sweeping original score written by award-winning composer Harry Gregson-Williams and an end credit song performed by multiple Grammy® Award-winner Alanis Morissette (“I Remain”). PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME hits theaters Memorial Day Weekend, 2010.
Although, as we first reported yesterday, Blizzard Beach is now expected to re-open on March 24, we have been advised that Teamboat Springs will remain closed through May 15.
Although it had just re-opened from a refurb, our source informs us that the Ranchos quiet pool at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will be closed again beginning April 5 and re-opening on April 17.
Also, the Fast Forward arcade located at Pop Century will be closed from May 10 through May 12.

Just released by Walt Disney Studios UK is this new trailer for Jerry Bruckheimer’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time in which we learn a bit about the dagger of time and what makes it desired so many and how it’s become Dastan’s (Jake Gyllenhaal) destiny to protect it.
Prince of Persia is set to be released on May 28, 2010 in the United States.
Effective February 21, there will no longer be a bus available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to take guests to the ESPN Wide World of Sports facility. Instead, guests can catch a bus to/from Disney’s All-Star Resorts, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Buses are expected to operate between 7 am and 11 pm daily, but will change times and frequency as dictated by sporting events occuring that day.
I was able to briefly penetrate the LEGO fortress (which, despite being bright yellow on the exterior, was constructed of something much more durable than plastic) and get a sneak peek at all of the new Disney branded LEGO and DUPLO sets we can expect to see in 2010.
Solidifying the recent licensing of Disney to LEGO, 2010 marks the first year that LEGO will be introducing Disney-branded DUPLO for the younger set. In this case, we have two series coming out in the first half of the year for Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story and for Disney/Pixar’s CARS. I have to confess I find the DUPLO sets to be absolutely adorable and I wish I could share photos with you but despite being in possession of the box artwork, it’s all preliminary so I’m not allowed to share, but I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
With LEGO, we have a few more Toy Story sets being released in conjunction with the theatrical release of Toy Story 3. These sets are focused on the film and thus some of the characters and concepts behind the playsets will be spoilers. The same could be said for the Prince of Persia releases, so consider yourself warned.
Walt Disney Studios has just sent us a couple of new posters for Jerry Bruckheimer’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time which match up with a previously released poster that probably looks like it belongs on the cover of GQ more-so than the lobby of your local movie theater.
The new posters feature Jake Gyllenhaal as Dastan under the banner of COURAGE and Ben Kingsley as Nizam with REVENGE. These mesh with the previously released image of Gemma Arterton as Tamina and DESTINY.
A few sites around the net have exclusively debuted the new trailer for the upcoming Jerry Bruckheimer film Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, based on the popular video game franchise. Here it is courtesy of MySpace:
