Courtesy of the film’s official Facebook page comes this newly offered sketch from Disney’s Tangled which features Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi), Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) and Flynn’s occasionally-faithful steed, Maximus. Apparently Maximus’ allegiance may belong to someone other than his owner judging by the artwork.
Disney’s Tangled is slated to open nationwide on November 24 with a limited release beginning November 12. For all of our Tangled coverage, see this bookmark.
The 2 minute+ trailer gives us the setup of the relationship between notorious thief Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi of NBC’s Chuck) and Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) who has spent her entire life locked up in a tower. We also get quite a bit of an introduction to Pascal, Rapunzel’s chameleon friend-slash-guardian.
Of special note is we also get to see just how ‘magical’ Rapunzel’s hair is as John Lasseter first revealed during the D23 Expo last year.
This Sunday night, Disney Channel will be offering an exclusive first look at Disney’s Tangled starring Mandy Moore as Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as Flynn Rider. Bearing a striking resemblance to the former title treatment and probably not likely to be the final, final artwork, Walt Disney Animation Studios has just sent us this title treatment for the artist formerly known as Rapunzel but now going under the official title of Tangled.
