On Friday, July 6, 2012, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library will debut its newest rotating exhibit in partnership with The Walt Disney Company, ‘D23 Presents Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at the Ronald Reagan Library.’ This will represent the largest single, assembled collection of items from the Studio’s Archives ever on public display which is fitting as the Reagan Library’s Museum is the largest of its kind, welcoming more than half a million visitors annually and housing an actual Boeing 707 jet which served as Air Force One for several United States presidents, including Ronald Reagan, the last to use this specific plane.

‘Disney D23 Presents Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives’ Musical Tour Available July 3

D23's 'A Musical Tour: Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at The Reagan Library'In conjunction with the launch of the Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at the Ronald Reagan Foundation and Library beginning July 6, 2012, Disney D23 will be releasing a ‘musical tour’ which features anthems and instantly recognizable music from nearly 85 years of the company’s history. From ‘Turkey in the Straw’ as used in Steamboat Willie to Walt Disney’s Disneyland dedication speech in 1955 to Captain America: The First Avenger, the musical tour, inspired by the more than 500 items from the Walt Disney Archives on display at the museum is sure to induce fond memories for all generations.

Ronald Reagan Library to Offer Advance Tickets for First Time in Honor of Disney Archives Exhibit

Ronald Reagan at Disneyland ┬ęDisneyDisney D23, the official fan club of The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS), is pleased to announce that it has joined forces with the Ronald Reagan Foundation and Library to offer museum tickets in advance for the first time ever. Available beginning June 26 at 8 am PT, tickets can be purchased online at http://www.reaganfoundation.org/tickets for dates beginning July 6 to visit the museum and the Disney Archives exhibition.

Purchasing tickets online will guarantee access to the museum when desired as they are entry time constricted to keep the flow of guests at an enjoyable pace. A limited number of same-day tickets will be available at the museum for those who do not wish to take advantage of the new system.
