D23 Expands Member Discount Opportunities; Previews 2011 Expo Perks

D23 has recently announced new discount opportunities for its members at participating locations throughout North America as well as providing a sneak peek at one of the exclusive opportunities available for D23 Charter Members at the 2011 D23 Expo.

We previously told you about the existing discount opportunities in 2010 for members at Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort and select ESPN Zone locations across the country, as well as the opportunity to join a reunion of the original Mickey Mouse Club at the 2010 Hollywood Show. D23 Members will also receive special D23 pricing on tickets to the popular “Evening of Disney Rarities” at the Newport Beach Film Festival. Even Scrapblog has gotten into the act, offering special opportunities for D23 members.

Now Mandara Spa has also teamed with D23 to offer Members 10% off of all services at Mandara Spa locations in the U.S., Mexico, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, including the Grand Californian Resort & Spa at Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin in Florida.

Also, just for the month of April, D23 Members who live in or visit New Orleans will receive 10% off purchases at select Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group locations. (The offer excludes alcohol and is valid for up to six people.) The offer applies to meals at Ralph Brennan’s BACCO, Red Fish Grill, Ralph’s on the Park, and the Courtyard Café at the New Orleans Museum of Art.

Looking ahead to the future, eFX Collectibles who have a line of Disney and Muppet licensed line of collectibles in the works including the Wicked Queen’s Snow White heart box and photo puppets will offer exclusive discounts to D23 members.

As for the 2011 D23 Expo, charter members will enjoy access to an exclusive members-only lounge where they can relax and enjoy special surprises. Tickets for the 2011 D23 Expo will go on sale August 19 and all D23 members will be able to purchase their tickets at a discount.
