Ahead of any official announcement, Amazon has begun listing ‘Mickey Mouse: Season One‘ with a release date of December 2, 2014, although it’s worth noting that Walmart (where the artwork came from in this case) has been listing it for an August 26, 2014 release for some time now.
Though you’d be hard-pressed to find someone inside the Disney fan community today who doesn’t know of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, you don’t have to go very far outside of it or back in time to find many who don’t. Created by Walt Disney under contract for Universal Studios in 1927, Oswald was an instant and phenomenal success, but when Walt was kicked to the curb, Mickey Mouse would emerge a year later and after a bit of struggling of his own, Oswald was condemned to oblivion for decades.
Last night, Disney Channel debuted three new ‘Cars Toons’ Shorty Shorts: ‘Hiccups,’ ‘Bugged,’ and ‘Spinning.’ The new Shorty Shorts are appropriately named since each one clocks in at under 90 seconds, while offering a quick and fun peek into the world of Cars. Directed by Jeremy Lasky and produced by Mary Alice Drumm, Disney Pixar ‘Cars Toons’ feature some of our favorite characters in new and surprising situations.

The whistle almost blew calling for quitting time, but after what seems like months of teasing, Walt Disney Animation Studios has finally provided us with these hi-res first images from John Kahrs’ revolutionary short, Paperman, which will play before Wreck-It Ralph in theaters beginning November 2, 2012.
In the revolutionary short, which uses a combination of hand-drawn animation with computer graphics, a young New Yorker has only his heart, imagination and a stack of papers to get the attention of the girl of his dreams. Paperman is an innovative short about destiny and the power of second chances.
