First Listen: ‘Beck’s Theme’ from ‘TRON: Uprising’ Soundtrack

'TRON: Uprising' SoundtrackWalt Disney Records has shared about half of one of the tracks from its upcoming release of the soundtrack to ‘TRON: Uprising‘ which will be available to own on January 8, 2013.

The title of the track below is ‘Beck’s Theme (Lightbike Battle)’ which clocks in at 3:57 on the soundtrack. It is one of 20 tracks all featured on or inspired by the Disney XD animated series. With exception to ‘Rezolution’ by Cole Plante, all tracks are credited to the show’s composer, Joseph Trapanese (remixes by 3OH!3 & JT, David Hiller and Opiuo are also included).

First up is a recent Disney Parks release, ‘The Circle Sessions: The Music of Carthay Circle,’ which was released as a CD not all that long ago exclusively at Disney California Adventure. Already heralded as a must have, the digital album features twelve Disney classics with an all-new jazzy spin as heard at the Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street at the Disneyland Resort theme park.

‘TRON: Uprising’ Soundtrack on Digital Download January 8, 2013

'TRON: Uprising' SoundtrackFrom the very onset of Disney XD’s ‘TRON: Uprising’ series, fans have been clamoring for an official soundtrack for the series consisting of the show’s music by composer Joseph Trapanese. As recently as just two days ago, Trapanese was respond to inquiries on Twitter regarding the potential of a soundtrack, replying that there was no announcement to speak of.

Fortunately, a lot can change in 48 hours and we are pleased to be one of the first to share the news that there will in fact be an official soundtrack to ‘TRON: Uprising,’ which will be available for digital download on January 8, 2013.

‘Epic Mickey 2′ Rainbow Caverns, Rainbow Falls, Costumes, Inkwells, Photo Mode, Soundtrack and MORE

Earlier this week, Disney Interactive and Junction Point Studio held a special exclusive event at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA to unveil brand new areas and worlds for both ‘Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two’ and ‘Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Illusion’ as well as demo the game for the first time on the Nintendo Wii U, along with other surprises which enhance gameplay.

‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Soundtrack Track List Released

'Wreck-It Ralph' SoundtrackAmazon.com has updated its entry for the Wreck-It Ralph original motion picture soundtrack to include the 25-track list. Ultimately, short of the titles of the score portions composed by Henry Jackman, there is little surprise here except that it includes previously released music from Kool & the Gang and Rhianna in addition to the original music for the film by Owl City, AKB48 and Skrillex with Noisa.

With that said, here is the official track listing for the album which will be available to own on October 30, 2012:

Disney's 'The Lost Chords: Cinderella'As we previously reported, Disney will be releasing a set of ‘lost chords’ from Cinderella on October 2, just as they have done with recent classic releases, The Aristocats and The Rescuers. The new ‘Lost Chords’ series consists not only demos of songs written for the films that ended up not being used, but all-new, fully orchestrated songs, produced in the same vein as if they had been used in the original film after-all.

Walt Disney Records has released the full track list for its upcoming release titled ‘Frankenweenie Unleashed!,’ a compilation of music inspired by the Tim Burton film from popular alternative recording artists.

A feature-length stop-motion remake of the original short film by Burton, Frankenweenie is a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new ‘leash on life’ can be monstrous.

First Listen: ‘Winnie the Pooh’ ‘So Long’ by Zooey Deschanel

Zooey DeschanelHe’s a bear of very little brain. She’s half of the acclaimed band She & Him. This year, they come together on the big screen in Winnie the Pooh, which hits theaters in select international markets in Spring 2011, and in the U.S. on July 15, 2011. Actress/Musician/Singer/Songwriter Zooey Deschanel (Almost Famous, (500) Days of Summer) joins Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood, performing three songs for the film, including her own take on the classic Winnie the Pooh theme song, ‘A Very Important Thing to Do’ and the original end-credit song ‘So Long,’ which was written by Deschanel and performed with She & Him bandmate M. Ward.
