Disney Store has announced that its Times Square (New York City), Michigan Avenue (Chicago) and Stockton Street (San Francisco) locations will open their doors at at 12:01 a.m. local time on ‘Force Friday,’ September 4, giving fans the first opportunity to see and purchase toys, collectibles, books, apparel and more from the upcoming film, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. In addition, the first 1,000 guests will receive a free Star Wars: The Force Awakens D23 commemorative fan poster.
With just a couple of weeks to go to Force Friday and four months (nearly to the day) to go before Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens debuts in theaters, it should come as a surprise to absolutely noone that there is still plenty to learn regarding the upcoming film and anthology series. Fortunately thanks in part to recent trademark registrations, additional clues may be coming even closer than you may think — like last night, when a new bunch of applications were published by the Patent and Trademark Office. You may recall that the trademark registrations are how we first learned of Gwendoline Christie’s character, Captain Phasma.

Ahead of any official announcement, Amazon has begun listing the first season of ‘Star Wars Rebels’ for release on both DVD and Blu-ray on September 1, 2015, which puts it well behind the launch date of season two, which will be June 20.
The entries lack descriptions, so there is no hint at any potential bonus features, but they do report a running time of 450 minutes which appears to be 2 hours longer than the combined length of the first season, including ‘Spark of Rebellion.’ Even account for the introductory shorts, there seems to be a substantial amount of previously unreleased content to be expected.
