Carter’s Big Break (Available Tuesday, June 8 or Pre-Order from Amazon.com)
In the hilarious and poignant sequel to Carter Finally Gets It, fourteen-year-old Will Carter attempts to get a little perspective on his life. School is finally over, and he has (barely) survived his freshman year. Unfortunately, he quickly learns that the summer break he’s been craving just might break him. When he and his girlfriend, Abby, part ways (over his less-than-appropriate requests and her shameless flirting with another guy), Carter can’t help but think his summer is ruined. Things start to look up after he’s unexpectedly cast in an independent film opposite the world’s biggest tween sensation, Hilary Idaho, who’s looking to give her image a makeover. With Hollywood knocking on his door, Carter gets a taste of the good life. Suddenly, his small town, lame friends, and embarrassing family don’t seem as great as they used to. As is prone to happen when Carter is around, the film spirals out of control, and he begins to fear that he’s not the “somebody” he thinks he is and more of the “nobody” he’s pretty sure he always has been. But maybe, with the help of a few friends, he’ll learn to see things in a whole new light. Find out if Carter goes Hollywood-or Hollywood goes Carter. To order or for more information, click here |

‘Starstruck’ Disney Channel Original Movie to Premiere February 14
Sterling Knight (of Disney Channel’s hit series “Sonny With A Chance”) and Danielle Campbell (“Prison Break”) star in “StarStruck,” a music and adventure-filled Disney Channel Original Movie about Hollywood pop star Christopher Wilde who, after unexpectedly meeting Jessica Olson, a down-to-earth girl visiting from the Midwest, is faced with either following his heart or doing what’s best for his glitzy career. The movie also stars Brandon Mychal Smith (“Sonny With A Chance”) and Chelsea Staub (of Disney Channel’s “JONAS”). Filmed in Los Angeles at landmark locations including Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, the Hollywood Sign and Grauman’s Chinese Theater, “StarStruck” premieres SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
The story follows Jessica and her family as they visit her grandmother in Los Angeles, and she winds up by chance meeting Hollywood pop star Christopher Wilde. It seems that Christopher has it all – fame, fortune and a big-budget Hollywood movie awaiting him – but after spending time with Jessica, he realizes he’s been missing out on something very important – being himself. As he shows her the city sites, the pair develop a friendship, but their bond is tested when Christopher publicly denies knowing her. Now Christopher must decide what is more important– being true to himself or becoming a movie star.
