ANA, Japan’s largest airline, announced today the inaugural flight of the final of three aircraft decorated with special Star Wars livery. Part of the previously announced ANA STAR WARS™ Project the last aircraft, the BB-8™ ANA JET (Boeing 777-300), featuring the new character from the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens, will roll out on March 27 and commence international routes.
Walt Disney Studios has announced via a teaser video (embedded below) that shortly before midnight ET on New Year’s Eve 2014, it will be sharing a brand new exclusive look at its upcoming film Cinderella (March 13, 2015), the live-action adaptation of the classic Disney animated film. The sneak peek will air during ‘Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve’ on the ABC television network.
Disney Parks is also sharing in the Cinderella celebration as part of the #Midnight campaign. Visitors to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World today are receiving a button featuring the film and we are also told displays — complete with video screens — promoting the film are flanking Cinderella castle.

In celebration of Disneyland’s 58th anniversary today, D23: The Official Disney Fan Club has launched the “Off the Map Sweepstakes.” Twenty-five lucky D23 Members and their guests will be invited to Disneyland Park to visit four of the park’s little-seen but widely heard of locations: Walt Disney’s private apartment, the Lilly Belle VIP parlor car on the Disneyland Railroad, Circle D Ranch, and the Disneyland Dream Suite.
Steven Prusakowski of New Jersey was named the ‘Winnie the Pooh Storyteller of the Year’ last month at the industry’s Posh Little Urbanites Show (PLUSH) in Los Angeles, California. By submitting a video that ‘best showcases creativity, integrates Pooh items and captures the essence of Winnie the Pooh,’ Steven won himself a vacation for four to Los Angeles as well as the opportunity to be showcased in the Winnie the Pooh Wonder and Wander app, available free for Apple iPhone and iPad devices. Being recognized as the ‘Winnie the Pooh Storyteller of the Year’ was just one of the many activities Disney Consumer Products brought to the attendees of PLUSH this year. In addition to showcasing many of the Disney Baby lines of products featuring Winnie the Pooh and friends, the event also included a fashion show as well as a storytime session with winner Steven. In addition to members of the public, the event was also attended by celebrities and personalities such as Lisa Rinna, Garcelle Beauvais, Jason Kennedy and ‘Cold Case’ star Kathryn Morris, who is currently expecting twins.

If New Yorkers felt a little safer today, it wasn’t without good reason. Atop one of the many buildings encasing popular Union Square stood Tonto with his kimosabe, the Lone Ranger. The life-size likenesses of The Lone Ranger stars Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer on horseback were part of a nationwide contest from Delta Vacations for a vacation to New Mexico. Moviegoers are encouraged to tweet or instagram photos of the statues along with the hashtag #LRRideForJustice for a bonus entry to the sweepstakes. Currently the statues are in New York City, visible from Union Square north, but they will be appearing at other locations nationally including Atlanta, GA, Orlando, FL, Miami, FL, St. Louis, MO, New Orleans, LA, Denver, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, San Francisco, CA, Burbank, CA and Hollywood, CA.
