Our good friends at Animatie.blog.nl have given us a look at this vibrant French poster for Disney’s Tangled (a.k.a Rapunzel, a.k.a. Raiponce).
In the poster, Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi) finds himself at the mercy of Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) and cham-pal Pascal as he finds himself dangling from the hidden tower. Apparently 18 years of home-study hasn’t gone wasted on Rapunzel who has learned the importance of simple machines such as the pulley and might also be interested in teaching Flynn the concept of terminal velocity.

On its official blog, Disney Parks has shared some concept art for the upcoming meet & greet with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider at the Disneyland Resort. The art and blog entry reveal Disney’s plans on how to turn Rapunzel’s ~70 feet of hair into a reality.
Rapunzel and Flynn Rider will begin greeting guests on October 15 at both the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts. At Walt Disney World, the duo can be found at the Magic Kingdom in the Fairytale Garden near Cinderella Castle, where Storytime with Belle currently takes place (that show ends September 12 in preparation of the transition). At Disneyland, Rapunzel and Flynn will be found at what is currently Gepetto’s Sweet Shoppe.

On the official Facebook page for Tangled, Walt Disney Animation Studios has shared this new piece of concept art which shows how Rapunzel has opted to bide her time as an avid painted for 18 years locked in the tower.
As a plus, it would also seem to double as fine target practice for her chameleon pal, Pascal.

Disney Interactive Studios today announced “Disney Tangled: The Video Game,” a story-based adventure game inspired by the world and characters featured in the upcoming 3D animated Disney film “Tangled,” an action-packed comedy adventure for audiences of all ages. Featuring Rapunzel, a feisty teen with incredibly long magical hair, and Flynn Ryder, a charming rogue, the video game combines humor with an engaging adventure as players embark on a journey to fulfill one of Rapunzel’s lifelong dreams to see the lights she’s admired from her Tower window. “Disney Tangled: The Video Game” will be released for the Wii™ system and Nintendo DS™ family of hand-held systems, as well as Windows/PC this holiday season.
On its official Facebook page for Tangled, Walt Disney Animation Studios has offered up this concept art from the film which shows Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) at the top of her tower, looking off into the distance, all 70 feet of hair flowing endlessly in the wind.
Walt Disney Animation Studios has just provided us with the title treatment for Tangled which will be released nationwide on November 24, 2010, this holiday season.
Unfortunately, while the original image is well over 10 mega-pixel in size, WordPress had an apparent problem with the resolution until we dumbed it down to the size we were able to post. We wanted to keep the resolution ashigh as possible so that you can see the fine detail in the lettering of the film’s title. To do this, click on the smaller representation below to see a version that fills your screen, then click on the resize icon which will show the image in its original uploaded size.
Of course this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that there will be a video game adaption of Disney’s Tangled about the time it hits the theaters, but just to throw it out there, Amazon.com now has the game listed for the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS for release on November 16, 2010.
We will publish as soon as we hear of more details on the title or if we learn it will be released on additional consoles.
Break into a stranger’s home and steal her tiara and you’re just asking for a frying pan to the head. That’s the message we get from this concept art for the key scene in the teaser trailer (minus Pascal the chameleon) as posted by Walt Disney Animation Studios on the official Facebook page for Disney’s Tangled.
On a related note, the previous entry on the Facebook page suggests that Rapunzel is (at least) 18 years old in the film.
