Ever since Disney Store launched its first Star Wars themed Tsum Tsum collection, fans have been clamoring for a set  honoring The Force Awakens. Earlier today, Disney Store has announced that the new collection for The Force Awakens collection will launch exclusively at Disney Stores nationwide and in Europe on June 21 as part of the ‘Tsum Tsum Tuesday’ program.

For those who can’t wait until June, however, the collection will be released earlier at Disney Store Japan on the Star Wars holiday May 4, 2016 as part of a larger program.

Star Wars ‘Tales From a Galaxy Far, Far Away: Aliens’ New Stories Detailed

Star Wars The Force Awakens: Tales From a Galaxy Far, Far Away Although it’s primarily a printed collection of short stories that were e-published last year as part of the ‘Journey to The Force Awakens‘ campaign, Landry Q. Walker’s Tales from a Galaxy Far, Far Away: Aliens, Volume 1 (April 5, 2016) will feature two brand new stories, of which we are pleased to share the first details of below.

Featuring artwork by Tyler Scarlet of Industrial Light and Magic, the 352 page collection of stories is intended to be reminiscent of pulp fiction novels, using aliens featured in Star Wars The Force Awakens who didn’t quite hold the spotlight in the film itself. The official publisher’s description, including details on the just-announced new tales is as follows:

‘Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens’ New Stills in Ultra High Resolution, Watermark Free

Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm have provided us with high resolution versions of stills from Star Wars: The Force Awakens (December 18, 2015) as they recently appeared in Entertainment Weekly. The stills feature the core group of characters as well as Domhnall Gleeson in the role of General Hux and Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma. The newly added stills can be found in our gallery embedded below.

Star Wars also released a new teaser on its Instagram account featuring a clip in which it appears Finn, armed with Anakin’s light saber, is preparing to face off with Kylo Ren.

Disney Store Locations in New York, Chicago and San Francisco to Celebrate ‘Force Friday’ on September 4

Disney Store has announced that its Times Square (New York City), Michigan Avenue (Chicago) and Stockton Street (San Francisco) locations will open their doors at at 12:01 a.m. local time on ‘Force Friday,’ September 4, giving fans the first opportunity to see and purchase toys, collectibles, books, apparel and more from the upcoming film, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. In addition, the first 1,000 guests will receive a free Star Wars: The Force Awakens D23 commemorative fan poster.

Toys ‘R’ Us Times Square Plans Awaken for Star Wars Episode VII Product Release on September 4

In preparation for the world-wide roll-out of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens products at midnight on September 4, 2015, Toys ‘R’ Us has announced its plans to commemorate the event including an entire day of Star Wars related events the day before at its global flagship store in Times Square.

FIRST LOOK: LEGO Star Wars First Order Stormtrooper Buildable Figure Set from ‘The Force Awakens’

LEGO   75114 LEGO Star Wars First Order Stormtrooper Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con, LEGO has shared a first look and details at the buildable First Order Stormtrooper LEGO set from Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. The set will be available for purchase in January 2016.

The LEGO buildable figure (75114 LEGO Star Wars First Order Stormtrooper) will be 81 pieces and retail for $19.99 and is recommended for ages 7-14.
